[Thirsty Thursday] Top 5 Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? Ecchi Scenes

Think of your favorite Mahou Shoujo anime. Who was your favorite character? I bet they were really kawaii. Well, you’re in luck. Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? has everything you would love from the genre! Ayumu Aikawa is not your typical anime protagonist. First of all, he’s a zombie. Secondly, he’s a “Masou” Shoujo. Not quite in line with your original expectations, most likely. However, he has his ways, and they always manage to be entertaining.

He’s not quite big on the crossdressing (or so he says) that accompanies his new powers just yet. But with them, he has the ability to defend his fleshy, rotting self from all sorts of bizarre monsters and evil wizards who set their sights on him. You see, no one really becomes a zombie by choice, and Ayumu is no exception. After being murdered in cold blood in the dead of night, he was resurrected by the last girl he hit on, Euclid Hellscythe. She was so sympathetic to him after his attempts to woo her that the beautiful young-looking necromancer made him her latest creation.

Becoming a living corpse isn’t all bad. For one, it means he has plenty of chances to investigate his murder without, ya know, dying again. As he does so, he finds himself wound up in a whole bunch of supernatural plots of intrigue and meeting tons of other beings he wishes he didn’t know existed. But that being said, it does give him a chance for a bunch of really ecchi scenes. Here are our Top 5 ecchi scenes from Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?.

5. Ayumu The Masochist - Episode 1

Wandering around the streets in town after dark is very dangerous after the appearance of a serial murderer. With that said, Ayumu finds himself in a graveyard on one of his walks while searching for the culprit. There, he encounters the Masou Shoujo Haruna engaged in combat with a Megalo which has taken the form of a giant bear. With his luck notwithstanding, Ayumu happens to become impaled on its fist, becoming a would-be casualty of this supernatural assault. As one charged with protecting the masses from the otherworldly, Haruna tries to rescue Ayumu… Yeah right! She uses him as a distraction to chop in half, not only the Megalo but the zombie high schooler as well.

After being chopped in half by the magical girl, Ayumu is about to have his memories of meeting her erased. Unfortunately for her, her magic gets erased instead! He absorbs her magic, rendering her completely naked. In her embarrassment, she begins stomping him, introducing us to some early signs hinting that perhaps Ayumu enjoys playing the role of a hard M. He’s going to get hurt a lot in this series!

4. Twister - Episode 3

It all started with Haruna casually reaching into the fridge in an attempt to grab the last pudding snack that Ayumu bought. During the warm summer months, it makes sense to want to enjoy a cool snack to ease the discomfort. However, Euclid silently claims it for herself, preventing her from taking it by grabbing her hand. Of course, Seraphim also would like to lay claim to the delicious treat as well, and thus begins a three way battle for the last pudding.

In actuality, the trio of girls back at Ayumu’s apartment are simply bored and playing games while they await his return, but the last pudding is also at stake. They just so happen to discuss their reasons for being with him, as well as partake in a game of twister. During this discussion, it becomes clear that his reputation as a pervert seems to be completely unquestionable. He does dress as a magical garment girl after all, which certainly raises some warning flags for everyone.

As Euclid spins the dial for their next placements, Haruna and vampire ninja Seraphim strike some sexy poses. Haruna, dressed in one of Ayumu’s oversized shirts, bends backwards as she completes her turn. Seraphim, dressed in her tank top and high cut skirt leans forward, making it clear just how motivated she is to win. It’s all right hand red in this ecchi scene. Even Euclid Hellscythe, the reserved shy beauty strikes a pose, even though she has nothing to do but spin and watch. Aside from the captivating scene, it’s clear that Ayumu is truly hated, but even he might have been appreciative of their harsh words if he’d been privy to what was taking place at his home. But alas, that was not his fate.

3. Bath Time - Episode 5

While doing his utmost to ignore the excitement happening in the other room, Ayumu cleans the dishes. He then is abruptly interrupted by a call from Haruna’s sensei Ariel. While the the two converse, the girls steal the show by engaging in typical bath time activities. You know, the kind of bath time scenes that only a harem ecchi anime can really pull off.

While Haruna and Seraphim take the logical steps in removing all of their clothing, Euclid opts to remain in her usual metal armor. It’s almost as if she knows she’s partaking in an ecchi anime bath scene and wants to hide her embarrassment! Of course, no ecchi scene would be complete without mysterious rays of light and steam, but that does little to diminish the scene. Haruna enthusiastically pumps a body wash bottle preparing to lather Euclid, while the voluptuous Seraphim relaxes in the bath tub. Soon, it’s time to switch places, and Euclid watches on as Seraphim ecstatically scrubs Haruna’s back, who giggles in ticklish delight. Not wanting to be on the receiving end, Haruna retaliates, poking Seraphim’s large breasts without reservation. Ayumu’s good fortune of having such lovely ladies share the same roof as him is looking up. If only their personalities didn’t always clash with his well being! It’s more than likely a very good thing that he did not stumble upon this scene, or his zombie abilities might not have saved him.

2. Yuri Kiss - Episode 5

Ever since she took the scene, Seraphim’s background has been a little hard to believe. Being a vampire ninja, just one of those things would usually be enough to stand out in an anime cast. Both of them together is a bit unusual no matter how you slice it. Especially when there are so many so-called vampires in anime who don’t have any negative traits. However, in episode 5 Seraphim reveals she does in fact need to feed. For this voluptuous vixen of the night, some yuri action with Masou Shoujo Haruna is the main course.
It can’t be helped, but Ayumu Aikawa isn’t sitting this ecchi scene out for anything. Peeping into the dark room from the dividing door, he spies what looks like Seraphim and Haruna sharing a tender embrace. Euclid is unphased, as usual. In fact, she’s simply munching on chips. Seraphim seduces Haruna, whispering into her ear and licking her neck. Getting her warmed up is the intent, but leaving her hot and bothered is the end result. After she begins to feed to sate her vampire cravings, she discovers Ayumu is entranced by their union, and well, damages his pride. He flew too close to the yuri sun this time.

1. Perverted Wish - Episode 12

A trip to the pool would usually be enough for most people, but not Ayumu. Donned in Euclid Hellscythe’s magically imbued armor, he also possesses her unique reality-warping abilities. Of course, at this stage in the series, the viewers could think “Oh, there’s Ayumu Aikawa crossdressing once again.” Sure, that’s a fair assessment, but this time there’s going to be an ecchi scene following it.

After witnessing a tantalizing idol performance by Euclid herself featuring Seraphim and Sarasvati, Ayumu begins to think the world would be a much better place if all women dressed as appetizingly as them. Unfortunately, he verbally says this, causing the magic he stores within him to actualize. His wish for a world with scantily clad women becomes a reality, and every female on screen is changed into a bikini. Of course, it doesn’t end well for Ayumu, but he gets an eyeful of his dream world before being subjected to his harsh punishment. Well, he probably enjoys both to be quite honest.

Final Thoughts

Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? shows that if you have to be reincarnated as the living dead, you might as well become a magic girl along with it. Ayumu Aikawa is having the time of his life, or afterlife, so to speak. If gaining an immortal undead body is all it takes to be on your way to becoming a harem king, there are many that would take up that tempting offer. These Top 5 ecchi scenes go a good ways at demonstrating that.
