Akikan is a humorous anime filled with lots eccentricity, where even the enemies you meet are pretty abnormal themselves. Ore, Twintail ni Narimasu and Akikan have definitely left their mark as extraordinary and different to most anime. If you’ve watched one, why not give the other a try?

5. Date A Live

To his surprise, It turns out Shidou has an important role and that is to make that mysterious girl and those like her fall in love with him. Is this young man up to the task?

Date A Live and Ore, Twintail ni Narimasu have their fair share of similarities. One being that the protagonists are thrown into a situation where they have an important role. That similarity then leads into another; both anime also have harem themes. The protagonist of Date A Live must make mysterious spirits fall in love with him to stop them from their fighting, which inadvertently creates a harem around him. While Ore, Twintail ni Narimasu is much more light-hearted and humorous, even throughout the action, Date A Live has much more gore within its scenes. Although, outside of the action, it can be very comedic. Lastly, the greatest similarity of all is that there are many girls sporting the great, twintails hairstyle in both series!
