Can the two friends still keep their rivalry—and possible romance—alive despite their families? Well, find out by reading Rough by mangaka Adachi Mitsuru.

Rough might be an older manga—that date was before some of us here at Honey’s Anime were born—but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy it as much as a modern manga. Rough is a cute story that at times borderlines on the absolute ridiculous. Seriously a family rivalry over a cake shaped like an owl caused a lifelong hate? Yet, that’s why we love it so much, it’s simple and a fun read with some great classic art and a romance story thrown in for good measure. Rough will definitely appeal to those who like older manga as well as Keppeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun.
