Shirayuki is a princess with hair as red as a ripe apple.

Prince Raji takes a liking to her rarity, so she’s taken as his personal concubine, and is forced to leave the country in which she was born and raised.

In the forest of the neighboring country, she meets and is helped by Zen, the 2nd prince of the Kingdom of Clarines.

This is the tale of the journey this fated pair embark on, as well as all the people they meet along the way.

Shirayuki

She’s a young lady with beautiful red hair, almost like an apple. She has a strong personality and is one to take action, but there are times when she runs off somewhere to deal with her stress alone.
She was an apothecary in the Kingdom of Tanbarun, but was taken away from her country by Prince Raji, who adored her rare hair and eyes, and took her to be his concubine.

Zen

Voice Actor: Ryota Osaka

He’s the 2nd prince of the Kingdom of Clarines. He places importance on observing goings-on around the palace, and will often sneak out of the castle when no one is looking. He runs into, and is captivated by Shirayuki, which spurs him to discover his true strength.

Mitsuhide

Voice Actor: Yuuichirou Umehara

He’s Zen’s closest aide. As a member of the Imperial Guard Corps, he has earned Zen’s full trust. He’s nearly peerless when it comes to sword-wielding, and so he serves as Zen’s personal training partner. Him and Zen’s other aide, Kiki, go back about 5 years.

Kiki

Voice Actor: Kaori Nazuka

She’s one of Zen’s close aides, and like Mitsuhide, is also part of the Imperial Guard Corps. Calm and collected by nature, she is a very dependable girl who is not phased by most things. Being the only female member of the Imperial Guard Corps, she uses sword skills that don’t rely on pure strength to best her enemies.

Obi

Voice Actor: Nobuhiko Okamoto

He’s usually laid back, but he’s very agile, with impressive skills. When he finds himself in a dangerous situation, his demeanor changes immediately.

Ryuu

Voice Actor: Yuuko Sanpei

He’s Shirayuki’s boss. At only 12 years old, he’s the youngest apothecary there is, but he’s a prodigy with extensive pharmaceutical knowledge. He’s always studying up on pharmacology, and once he’s concentrating on that, he blocks out the world around him.

Raji

Voice Actor: Jun Fukuyama

He’s the 1st prince of the Kingdom of Tanbarun. He has an arrogant nature and is quite conceited. Because of this, he is often referred to as the “No-Good Prince” among the general populus. Hearing only that she has rare crimson hair, he attempts to make Shirayuki his concubine.

Garack

Voice Actor: Yuuko Kaida

She’s the head apothecary of the Fort Wistalia. She has a fairly frank attitude. She’s famous in the field of pharmacology, and has even authored a book on the subject.
