Ikuta, a 17 year old youth constantly wearing a sleepy expression, lives in the Katjvarna Empire. His hobbies include, hitting on women, taking naps, and eating, so this definitely lends to his image of being a good-for-nothing, that everyone gossips about. Ikuta graduated from the Imperial Sigal High School, and it has come about that he is taking the exam with Yatrisino.
Yatrisino Igsem

Yastrisino is an old friend of Ikuta and is also 17 years old. She often scolds Ikuta on his laziness and she understands his high level of intelligence more than anyone else. She is from the famous military family, the Igsems, and she is very accomplished in both literary and military arts. As for the difficult military high school entrance exam, she forms a scheme with Ikuta to pass the exam with top marks...
Chamille Kitora Katjvanmanninik

Chamille is a twelve year old girl who is the third princess of the Katjvarna Empire. She is still a child however, she floats around the imperial household with dignity as if she was a grownup. She also though, has a loveliness about her that isn’t too flattering, and so she dually carries both of these parts of her personality at the same time. Due to fate’s cruel trick, she happens to undertake the military high school entrance exam and meets Ikuta. From there her fate as well begins to change.

Matthew Tetojirichi

Matthew is a 17 year old student in the same grade as Ikuta and Yastrisino. Matthew has always viewed them as rivals since high school because he is always involved in some way when it comes to Yatrisino, and he has a past where he was ridiculed by Ikuta. He has pride in his own family, the Tetojirichi, who were formerly affluent but now, no one cares so he is never picked as a partner leaving him feeling sad.
Haroma Becker
Voice Actor: Haruka Chisuga
Haroma is 19 years old and she has just graduated from the Imperial Min Mihaera School of Nursing. Her appearance and manner of speaking are both gentle. Her weak point though is her gentle personality. Due to Ikuta’s coaxing, she often finds herself in awkward situations that trouble her. She too challenges the military high school exam with dreams of becoming a combat medic, and somehow winds up working with Iukta and Yastrisino.
