Amai Choubatsu: Watashi wa Kanshu Senyou Pet (BRIEF) Introduction

Amai Choubatsu is a story of, literally, sweet punishment. Saotome Hina is accused of embezzling millions from her company and she is sentenced to a year in a formerly all-male prison. There, she meets the head of security, Myoujin Aki. He has a dominating, graceful aura and a terrible sadistic streak he takes out on Hina whenever he desires. Powerless to resist, Hina is forced to endure humiliating remarks and groping under the guise of health inspections and routine body searches. Perhaps the most damning thing of all is how readily her body responds to his touch, no matter how much she wants to deny it.

What We Liked About Amai Choubatsu: Kanshu Senyou Pet

We got some good-looking people up to some business, and for those of us who like our ecchi-bordering-on-hentai with comparatively attractive people, this is a fun little show. It’s incredibly short at just over 4 minutes and unlike other short-form hard-core ecchi anime, features two men with the same woman. Hooray for variety!

Why You Should Watch Amai Choubatsu
anime-expo-2023-cosplay-TopIMG-1-500x281 Amai Choubatsu: Watashi wa Kanshu Senyou Pet Review – When Punishment Isn’t a Good Deterrent to Crime

1. If you have a short attention span

Amai Choubatsu doesn’t beat around the bush. Every episode is a set up to a scenario and then approximately 2 minutes of sexy time. It’s one of those shows you can easily marathon and you don’t have to wade through a lot of prologue before getting to the action. If you’re more on the impatient side or just someone who hates having to interrupt their marathon halfway through, this is an easy show to get through.

2. If you like Shiki from Tsukipara

Really, Myoujin Aki looks so much like the musically-inclined, stoic wonder that is Takamura Shiki from the Tsukipara mobile game or Tsukipro anime. His short purple hair and cold demeanor are reminiscent of the idol even if his propensity to abuse power and sexually assault women is outside of normal Shiki behavior.

3. You love power dynamics

Hina is somewhat sympathetic in that she wants to be loyal to her boyfriend and is jailed for a crime she didn’t commit, but when you see her flushed face and eager body, it’s easy to ignore her pleas for release. She so clearly physically enjoys what Aki, and later Higa, do to her despite her protests. Hearing her inner monologue as she wrestles with her body wanting more but her mind telling her she shouldn’t makes the dirty scenes all the more arousing. Plus, there’s something even more arousing about how Aki doesn’t initially do anything but pleasure her against her will. He could force himself on her, but instead, he forgoes his own pleasure to dominate her completely.

Why You Should Skip Amai Choubatsu

1. If you wanted a story with depth

Nothing to see here folks. Scenario, fingering, set up to next scene. That’s about every episode. It’s very repetitive, so if you’re looking for more than something that tickles your pickle, you may find the series lacking.

2. You hate short episodes

If you want a good time-killer or something that can hold your attention for an extended period of time, these short episodes just won’t do the trick. Not only are they a measly 4 minutes and 40 seconds give or take, but they follow a very similar formula. Now, they do have multiple guys so it breaks up the monotony a little, but everything is very rushed, which doesn’t help to immerse the viewer.

3. Only consensual smut will do

The whole premise is how Hina does no want to have sex with these men but ultimately, it’s not her choice. If you’re looking for 100% consensual relations with kindness and understanding, you may want to skip this series. Higa is much better about doting on Hina even though he absolutely goes at her even when she says she has someone she loves, but Aki has no qualms about doing her in front of other people,

Final Thoughts

While Amai Choubatsu may not be for everyone, it certainly has its advantages. It has a super erotic theme without perhaps the best plot, so it all depends on what you’re looking for. While we wouldn’t say it’s one of those anime that will stay with you the rest of your life, it can be fun for a good wank and who’s to say that’s not also important?

Hey friends! I reside in Georgia and use my degree in Japanese primarily to (barely) read doujinshi that hasn’t been translated. Beyond deciding who is best girl in whatever I happen to be watching, I really enjoy ballroom dancing, reading, crying over dating sims, karaoke, and being surrounded by beautiful things~ (You know, scenery, décor, boys, stuff like that). I also love talking about passions with others!
