Synopsis
Season 2 of B: The Beginning.
Parting ways with Gilbert, Keith exposes the existence of a darkness lurking in the kingdom. Confronting his past, Koku finally finds Yuna, who he had been searching for, and brings her home. Several months after the incident, the kingdom’s secret has been brought to light and the world that was once thrown into turmoil has returned to peace and normalcy. Keith goes back to the RIS to conduct his own investigation and Yuna lives a peaceful life with Koku. However, their serene life is interrupted when Koku’s childhood friend, Kirisame, who supposedly died at the Jaula Blanca Research Institute shows up...

Keith Kazama Flick: Hiroaki Hirata
He belongs to the RIS, a special criminal investigation force. A certain incident causes him to retire from the police force, but in the wake of the Killer B case, he returns to investigate it. He keeps his feelings to himself as he goes about his work. He’s a genius but is out of shape and often falls over.
Kokuu: Yuki Kaji
A young boy who frequently visits the violin workshop that Lily’s father runs, in an effort to learn from him. He continues his search for a certain person. He has the ability to transform into a black-winged, heteromorphic being.
Lily Hoshina: Masami Seto
She belongs to the RIS, a special criminal investigation force. Keith tries to avoid her, but she can’t take a hint and persistently tags along on his cases. She’s a novice detective, but surprises everyone around her with her unique insights.
Erick Toga: Hiroki Touchi
A member of the Royal Investigative Service’s Special Criminal Investigation Force. He is an on-site crime scene commander who leads an RIS investigation team. His calm judgement and serious personality allow him to respond appropriately to the tough situations the RIS faces. He learned about crime scene investigation under Keith.
Boris Meier: Minoru Inaba
Boris also belongs to the special crimes investigation unit. He is an older investigator whom Lily looks up to as someone whom she can go to for advice. He is getting close to retirement, but he still does go to investigation sites. He has known Keith for a long time, and he is one of the people who are few in number that know about the incident of the past.
Kaela Yoshinaga: Ami Koshimizu
An investigator for the Royal Investigative Service. She uses her computer and analytical skills to support the RIS team behind the scenes. Though well-meaning, her candid comments are sometimes taken the wrong way. She often partners up with Erick.
Mario Luis: Shintaro Tanaka
An investigator for the RIS. He is a well-built and fit guy who is skilled at charging into crime scenes and securing suspects. Mario is rough around the edges, but is good at taking care of others. He is well-loved by his coworkers and is actually a secret admirer of Keith.
Brian Brandon: Toshiyuki Toyonaga
A member of the RIS. He’s a tech-savvy young man who specializes in data analysis and technical support. He is actually very capable, but due to his lack of experience, he tends to come across as unreliable. He has feelings for Kaela, but she doesn’t give him the time of day.
Jean Henry Richard: Atsushi Gotou
He belongs to the special crimes investigation unit, RIS. He’s a veteran investigator, who through solid detective work over the years, has established an impressive track record. He has worked with Keith for a long time and welcomed him back with open arms when he came out of retirement.
Gilbert Ross: Toshiyuki Morikawa
He works on the forensics team for the RIS. As a forensic expert, he identifies the cause of death of crime victims and uncovers evidence. Gilbert and Keith are old friends from their college days. He’s a very understanding person who continues to support Keith both professionally and on a personal level.
Minazuki: Kaito Ishikawa
Minazuki is the leader of a mysterious organization known as 'Market Maker,' which has all of its members apply some sort of face paint. Unlike normal people, he has a special ability, and if it is to ensure a victory, this cold-blooded man will use any methods available. He appears to be after Koku, but what exactly is the purpose of 'Market Maker'??
Yuna: Satomi Satou
One of Minatsuki’s subordinates. A girl of few words with an expressionless face. She is so loyal to Minatsuki that she is willing to follow his orders to the death. She hates Koku just as much as Minatsuki does.
Raika: Yu Kitada
One of Minatsuki’s subordinates. He always follows Minazuki and support him as a confidant.
Izanami: Mitsuki Saiga
One of Minatsuki’s subordinates. She is frank and optimistic. She attacks Kokuu as though she has fun playing.
Kamui: Kazuya Nakai
One of Minatsuki’s subordinates. He likes standing out and doing something flashy. Minazuki sometimes stops him when he does whatever he wants forgetting the original purpose.
Takeru & Kukuri: Nozomi Kameda
Takeru and Kukuri are Minatsuki’s subordinates. They look identical, except for the color of their hair. Based on their appearance, they look like children, however, their ages are unknown. They work as a pair and excel at using firearms to attack with combination shots.
Kuen: Makoto Awane
One of Minatsuki’s subordinates. He is the first assassin to attack Kokuu.
Kirisame: Takuma Terashima
A Canon of the Jaula Blanca Research Institute. After the attack on the institute, he was picked up by a certain person. Together, for the sake of their kingdom, they try to make Kokuu their king. He hopes to create a place of belonging for all the Canon.
Asagiri: Megumi Han
A second generation Canon—a next-gen model created after Kokuu and Kirisame. She was made by the king and Yukikaze who continued the research that was conducted at the Jaula Blanca Research Institute. In order to surpass Kokuu, they incorporated Kokuu’s DNA information into the capabilities of an already existing Canon. For a certain end goal, she keeps a close eye on Kokuu.
Yukikaze: Kouki Uchiyama
A Canon of the Jaula Blanca Research Institute. He supports Kirisame along with Kazan. He doesn’t engage in direct combat. After the attack on the institute, he continues researching with the surviving scientists involved in the Canon experiments. As a researcher himself, he plays a key role in analyzing data and developing next-gen research.
Kazan: KENN
A Canon of the Jaula Blanca Research Institute. He and Kirisame have spent a lot of time together since they were children. Lacking any personal ideology, Kanon works with Yukikaze to support Kirisame and make his dream a reality. He is an excellent fighter and specializes in using a spear in combat.
