However, these two blossoms left behind two forgotten mementos which they gave life to - Hachirou Kouga and Hibiki Iga. These two children, who have the same eyes as their father and mother respectively, were born with a certain fate awaiting them.

Now, it’s the peaceful Kan'ei​ era. Ninjas are now seen as useless, and have no choice but to retreat into the shadows. Those from the Kouga and Iga clans look towards Hachirou and Hibiki to make a change using their blood and strength.

Hachirou Kouga

One of the protagonists and the leader of the Kouga clan. The blood-related brother of Hibiki. He’s wise and skilled, but is shackled by his sensible way of thinking. He has “Spear Eyes” which allow him to return the hostility of his enemy reflected in his eyes.

Hibiki Iga

Voice Actor: Inori Minase

One of the protagonists and the leader of the Iga clan. She’s elegant and innocent, but that innocence leads to her running recklessly rampant. Unaware of this side to her, she sometimes get scared. She has “Shield Eyes” which allow her to negate the hostility of her enemy reflected in her eyes.

Kazuma Kusanagi

A young and talented member of the Kouga clan. He’s an intellectual with a wild side. He wants to perfect his ninja skills from the bottom of his heart. He has the “Heavenly Harp”, an extremely thin whip made from intertwined bowstrings.

Kasou Himonji

Voice Actor: Ryuu Yamaguchi

A heroic and skilled member of the Iga clan. He cares for his friends and has a personality that draws others to him, but he gets angry easily. He has “Grass Growing Fire” which allows him to spray oil from his stomach and set it alight, burning his enemy to a crisp.

Geiin Shichito

Voice Actor: Chou

A senior and cunning member of the Kouga clan. He took in the young Hachirou and Hibiki, and prioritises raising them to be healthy ninjas above all else. He has the “Firefly Squid” which allows him to release a large amount of special sweat that glows even in the darkest of nights.

Tenshin Yusa

Voice Actor: Shouhei Fuji

The brains of the Kouga clan. He’s very wary, and sometimes advises Geiin as a military advisor. A master of secret information, he also is skilled enough that he is aiming to hold up the rear when they need to escape. He has the “Thousand-armed Kannon” which scatters a large number of caltrops across a wide area.

Kareha Shougyou

Voice Actor: Kousuke Sakaki

A person of great talent and the pride of the Iga clan. He has natural quick-wit and is a hard worker who has achieved all he has through his steady efforts. He has the “Red Spider Lily” which allows him to manipulate extremely poisonous pollen as though it were poison gas.

Houetsu Tsuta

Voice Actor: Chafuurin

A strong protector of the Iga clan. He’s a womaniser, but at the core is a good guy. He treats Hibiki like a young princess, and tends to spoil her. He has the “Ivy Cast Net” which entangles those who enter an ivy lattice, strangling them to death.
