What You Need to Know:
- What was quite possibly one of the top anime of 2016, Boku Dake ga Inai Machi left an impact on the anime world for the better. After the less than stellar debut of the live action movie which faced many issues before it even came out, NETFLIX announced that it was going to give the series a dorama, or Japanese drama, adpatation.
- Today, they have released a trailer for the series showcasing the ED song. The ED will be called "Akane" performed by the band Kanojo IN THE DISPLAY. You can catch the visual for the series as well as the trailer below.
- The director for the series is Ten Shimoyama and features Yuuki Furukawa as Satoru, Mio Yuuki as Airi, Reo Uchikawa as young Satoru, and Rinka Kakihara as young Kaho. Boku Dake ga Inai Machi will be unleashed on December 15th for Japan and hopefully we will see an international release as well! What are your thoughts on a dorama adaptation? Do you think it will do better than a live action? Let us know below!
Dorama tend to do better looking at historical numbers, so maybe this will be good. Time will tell.
December 15th? That's only a few weeks away. Yay!
