Boku no Hero Academia chapter 260 wasted no time in showing the doctor—whose name has been changed to Kyudai Garaki after some research linked his original name to a WWII codename for experiments—isn’t as Quirkless as we thought. After Eraserhead joined Endeavor, he used his Quirk to reveal Garaki has been using some form of anti-aging Quirk. Present Mic runs up to the older Garaki and shows he’s truly angry at what the doc did to his friend. Unfortunately, Garaki was prepared for a possible encounter with the pros and unleashed several Nomu beasts! Even more shocking, the Garaki the team thought they had was just a clone-like being meaning the original is somewhere else entirely!
Below the hospital, the real Garaki is looking upon Tomura who still lies within a tube of unknown liquids. Alongside Tomura lie dozens of other tubes with various Nomu monsters revealing Garaki’s hidden project. Suddenly, Rabbit Hero bursts through the room and once more Garaki seems to be truly shocked! Despite Johnny appearing to attempt to save Tomura from Rabbit Hero, she wastes no time immobilizing the strange villain and now stands in front of Garaki. Does Garaki have another ace up his sleeve? We presume he does but until the next chapter, let’s discuss how imperative it is to read chapter 260!
1. Not the Real Garaki!?!?
Doctor Garaki might be extremely old—as we see from his anti-aging Quirk—but he is far from senile. Garaki seemed to calculate that the heroes would appear and had a clone—most likely a Nomu—ready to take the heat! Dang Garaki…you truly are a scary foe, aren’t you?
2. Rabbit Hero vs. Garaki!
The real Garaki has been found by Rabbit Hero and his face reveals his fear within. Rabbit Hero isn’t one to be trifled with and the doctor best have something ready to tackle the strong-legged hero!
Final Thoughts
Boku no Hero Academia 260 was pretty exciting this week as we learn Dr. Garaki does have a Quirk and he is indeed behind the Nomu creations. What will our heroes do to stop the mad doctor?
