What You Need to Know:
- No, Hell has not frozen over. You actually read that right! Shinichiro Watanabe is the Director for a new short anime made for promotion about the new Blade Runner 2049 movie which will open in October in Japan.
- Titled Blade Runner Black Out 2022, the short anime is, shockingly, set in 2022 between the two movies and will focus on what happens at a point within the 30 years between the two movies.
- Cygames Pictures is the studio in charge, Shukou Murase will be in charge of Character Design as well as the Animation Director. Flying Lotus is in charge of Music. Check out the behind the scenes and preview video as well below!
