- Earlier today, Crunchyroll officially announced their partnership with Fathom Events for Crunchyroll Movie Nights in 2019, starting with the theatrical premiere of "Mob Psycho 100 II." This event will kick off in January of next year, with an exclusive first look at “Mob Psycho 100 II” (season two), before the episode airs in Japan. The official day is January 5th and the begins at 12:55 p.m. PST.
- Crunchyroll and Fathom Events will bring a number of Crunchyroll Movie Night events to the Crunchyroll community over the next year, delivering the best of anime content to cinemas across the country in 2019.
- This screening will be accompanied by a special OVA episode titled "Mob Psycho 100 REIGEN The Miraculous Unknown Psychic,” which is available to fans now on Crunchyroll, alongside a special greeting from Setsuo Ito, the voice actor behind the main character Shigeo Kageyama (Mob).
- Tickets for this special event will go on sale to the general public starting Friday, December 7, with over 500 cinemas participating nationwide. Fans can purchase tickets at www.FathomEvents.com. Crunchyroll subscribers will receive early access to tickets for this event on Wednesday, December 5, and will continue to get presale opportunities for future Crunchyroll Movie Night events.
- “Mob Psycho 100 II” will premiere January 7, 2019, with the simulcast streaming on Crunchyroll after episodes air in Japan. The new season will launch on Crunchyroll in partnership with Warner Bros. Japan.
