Nariyuki Yuiga has dedicated his life to becoming a useful man. In order to give his family a better life, Nariyuki decides to work hard in school and get a special scholarship that covers all of his university fees. Nariyuki gets the perfect opportunity to earn the scholarship, but there is a catch. Nariyuki must tutor two of his smartest classmates Fumino Furuhashi and Rizu Ogata, who are both talented in certain subjects but have terrible grades in others. With multiple tutors failing before him, Nariyuki must learn how to teach the girls if he ever hopes to get his scholarship.

1. Similar Story Setups
Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai and Gotoubun no Hanayome have very similar stories. Both anime are about a boy who comes from a poor family, that takes up a tutoring job in order to get a better life. The boys must come up with interesting ways to teach an eccentric group of girls that all have problems with studying and are unable to learn normally. Along the way, they must deal with the compromising situations they find themselves in and deal with the budding romantic feelings that develop between them and all of the girls.
2. The Characters
The similarities in the characters go beyond Fuutarou and Nariyuki and their roles in the stories. Between Go-toubun no Hanayome and Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga's female characters are also very similar in the way they are shown and developed. The female characters don't share many personality traits or backgrounds, but their similarities are shown throughout the story as they go through the tutoring of Fuutarou and Nariyuki. Each of the girls has a deep and meaningful reason behind their inability to improve their grades and as you learn more about the reasons behind the struggles you're able to grow more attached to the characters.

Oda Nobunaga is a middle school teacher who longs for a romantic relationship. One day, while visiting his parents, a girl appears out of thin air after Nobunaga accidentally breaks a teacup. The girl reveals that her name is Kichou and that she has come from the Sengoku era to be Nobunaga's bride. Things get even crazier when more girls begin to show up, with all of them not only have a connection to the Sengoku Era, but also have feelings for Nobunaga. With all of these girls at his side, Nobunaga learns that having the harem he always dreamed of won't be as easy as he thought it would be.

1. Character Dynamics
Nobunaga-sensei no Osanazuma and Go-toubun no Hanayome have similar vibes and character dynamics. The way Nobunaga has to handle his interactions with the various girls as he dances around their advances is similar to how Fuutarou goes about dealing with the sisters. The stories never get too crazy and mostly revolve around the characters and the compromising situations they often find themselves in.
2. Ecchi and Comedy
The main draw for both series are their ecchi components and the comedy that goes along with it. Nobunaga-sensei no Osanazuma and Go-toubun no Hanayome have plenty of these comedy and ecchi scenes throughout each episode giving you plenty of great moments to enjoy. While both anime also have some serious moments, they mostly about making you laugh and providing you with tons of eye candy along the way.
