- There are a lot of things we take for granted in life, flowers being one of them but also birthdays...sadly. Luckily, we have a great birthday database for anime characters and today is quite the special one, as Kanao Tsuyuri from Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba) celebrates her birthday today! Kanao Tsuyuri is a demon hunter and Shinobu's former Tsuguko. She's taken care of by the Demon Killing Corps' Pillars, and is the adopted sister of Kanae Kocho.
- An innocent looking appearance but a very deadly force to be reckoned with if you get in her way, Kanao Tsuyuri can get the job done once it needs to, and return back to her peaceful ways right after. She's known for wearing a pink and green butterly ornament that once belonged to Kanae Kocho, that keeps her trademark ponytail in place. Her fighting style is known as 'Breath of Flower' and is voiced by Reina Ueda who voiced Ruri in Dr. Stone. Kanao made her anime debut in episode 4 and in chapter 6 in the manga!
