Season 5 Week 6 is upon us. That means that if you’re hunting for the Road Trip skin, there’s only one week of challenges before it arrives. Will you want to continue after that? If you haven’t finished the Battle Pass, the odds are you do. Let’s get started, shall we?
Free Tier Challenges:
- Deal 500 headshot damage to opponents - 5 Battle Stars
- Harvest 3000 building resources with a pickaxe - 5 Battle Stars
- Search where the Stone Heads are looking - 10 Battle Stars
Battle Pass Challenges
- Search 7 chests in Lonely Lodge - 5 Battle Stars
- Complete 5 timed trials - 5 Battle Stars
- 2 Minigun or Light Machine Gun eliminations - 10 Battle Stars
- Eliminate 3 opponents in Tilted Towers - 10 Battle Stars
Deal 500 headshot damage to opponents
Aim for the head. That’s the best way to complete this! Hitting someone with the new Heavy Sniper will unleash 350+ damage to their noggin, so doing that twice will complete this in one fell swoop. Same goes for downed enemies as well. Shotgunning a downed player right in their cranium will also speed this challenge up.
Harvest 3000 building resources with a pickaxe
If you’re not already farming up tons of Mats in a game, now it’s time to get started. Building keeps you alive in Fortnite, for the most part. You’ll get bonus materials hitting the blue circles as you swipe at trees, rocks ,and buildings, so get to work. Wood, Stone, Metal, anything goes for completing this one.
2 Minigun or Light Machine Gun eliminations
Chances are this is probably the only time you’ll actively use these weapons, and for good reason. The Minigun has been uselessly inaccurate and weak in the past, but a while ago it was buffed a small amount to compete with SMGs. The Light Machine Gun, on the other hand, has boasted the power of an AR but without the accuracy due to its wild recoil and extended magazine. Getting kills with these guns might be hard, but you may find them to be right at home in the spray and pray META of Fortnite Season 5.
Eliminate 3 opponents in Tilted Towers
Tilted is the place you go when you’re looking for a fight. If you have a shotgun, landing Headquarters might be your best bet. Place traps, peek corners, loot and farm pallets, whatever it takes to survive. If you land with your teammates don’t expect all of you to make it out unscathed though!
Final Thoughts
It’s week 6 and we’ve got 4 more for the whole season. We’re going to go over the Map Locations soon for this week, allowing you to make even more progress in your Battle Pass. Have any thoughts about this week’s challenges? Hit us up in the comments!
