Wooooooow!!! The hostess is cute! Recently these sort of fantasy/isekai anime have been on the rise. I love it!

This reminds me of Centaur no Nayami a bit. That's coming this summer too. Heck, even Gabriel DropOut too!

You are missing the food aspect. This is going to tell the tales of those who can find Youshoku no Nekoya. Shokugeki no Souma, maybe. But this show is not going to be action-packed, but rather diverse. I expect to see a lot of unique characters. Vampires, Centaurs, Shapeshifters, and more!

Hmm so more episodic then like Bartender? Interesting.

Synopsis

Once every seven days, the door will open…

Isekai Shokudou portrays the restuarant "Youshoku no Nekoya" a restuarant that serves western food and on Saturdays, it is closed to the general public. Why you ask? Well on those days, the restaurant becomes a host to all sorts of unique customers that are not strictly human. It also changes its menu slightly for these special guests that come from other worlds!

Three Episode Impression

The word ‘isekai’ fills me with a feeling of apprehension, but I dove on and decided to watch Isekai Shokudou. Isekai Shokudou does not have the same isekai feeling that other isekai anime/light novels/manga have as it is an anime in which the characters come upon a door to a restaurant that is only open once a week. The food here changes their lives and they go back out the same door. Isekai Shokudou is a rather simplistic anime as the same things appear to happen in each episode even if the characters’ circumstances differ. Despite this repetition, Isekai Shokudou is one of a handful of isekai anime that I must say I enjoy. It’s the simple idea that food is a common way to link people together and that it can help relax someone through whatever is stressing them that really strikes you. This isn’t Shokugeki no Soma or Yakitate!! Japan. This isn’t about the cooking process. This is more like Amaama to Inazuma (without the cooking) as it focuses on the importance of food for your soul. Quite frankly, as easy going and slice of life-y as it sounds, Isekai Shokudou is a great watch so far for those who loved anime like Amaama to Inazuma.

A girl from the spirit world. One day she happens to wander into “Youshoku no Nekoya” and ends up working there as a waitress.

Kuro

Like Aletta, Kuro works as a waitress at “Youshoku no Nekoya.” She is the incarnation of a dragon and is obsessed with a certain food.

A treasure hunter whose grandfather is famous in the treasure hunting world, but she herself is bad at sales.
