What You Need to Know:
- If you've been watching Kumamiko (aka Girl Meets Bear) this season, you've likely thought about how nice it would be to have a big friendly bear like Natsu look after you.
- Well, it would seem that the concept of the anime isn't all that bizarre after all. Meet Stepan, the 23-year-old, 300lb bear who lives with a Russian family. Not only does he live with them, he also eats with them at the dinner table, watches TV with them on the sofa, and helps water the garden!
- I'm sure you can imagine the reaction over here in Japan - that's right, this is the real life Kumamiko! Except there's no miko. And it's set in Russia. But it's super adorable anyway. Check out the video and Japanese anime fan's reactions below!
