Jujutsu Kaisen 0 coming on December 24, the day of "Hyakki Yakou"
What You Need to Know:
- It is announced that there will be a movie for Jujutsu Kaisen, titled "Jujutsu Kaisen 0", coming on December 24, 2021. Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is a prequel story of Jujutsu Kaisen, the anime series of which aired 2020 fall to 2021 winter, depicting Okkotsu Yuta as a protagonist. Jujutsu Kaisen 0 was originally serialized for a short-term by the creator Akutami before starting the serialization of the main story on Shonen Jump.
- The release date, December 24 is referred as the day of "Hyakki Yakou" (Night Parade of a Hundred Demons) by Suguru Geto, making it even more exciting for fans.
- The movie will be animated by MAPPA, the animation studio that produced amazing anime series of Jujutsu Kaisen and other anime such as Attack on Titan The Final Season, Dororo, and Banana Fish.
- Jujutsu Kaisen Synopsis: A boy with a wonderful physical ability called Yuji Itadori has been living an ordinary life, until one day, he absorbs the curse into his spirit by devouring the special rank cursed object "a finger of Ryoumen Sukuna", to rescue his friend who was attacked by "the curse" one day.
Itadori is now sharing his body with "Ryoumen Sukuna" and enters the special agency against the curse called "the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College" with the introduction of the strongest shaman...
A fierce story begins for the young boy, in order to purify the curse...!
