What You Need to Know:
- The official website for previously announced anime movie Kimi no Koe wo Todoketai has been opened, revealing further details for the Madhouse original. You can see the first key visual in the tweet above.
- The story follows a 16 year-old girl called Nagisa who lives near the sea in Kamakura. One day, she discovers an abandoned radio station and decides to play at being a radio DJ... Only for her words to unexpectedly reach people.
- Directing the movie will be Naoyuki Itou, with Manabu Ishikawa as the scriptwriter and Toshinao Aoki on character design. As for the cast, members announced so far include Mina Kahahira, Yuki Tanaka, Momone Iwabuchi, Misako Iino, Mitsuho Kambe, Hitomi Suzuki, and Suzuko Mimori.
- The theme song for the movie will be titled Kono Koe ga Todokimasu You ni and performed by NOW ON AIR, a new group formed through the Kimikoe Audition. Kimi no Koe wo Todoketai will premiere in Japan in August 2017.
