What You Need to Know:
- After a long bout of silence over the last year, the Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! twitter and website updated the world on the status of the sequel to the second season. In fact, they have made three announcements in regards to the series!
- Rather than a third season, the series is headed to the big screen and is getting an anime movie treatment! In the same announcement, they also revealed that the movie is not being handled by Studio Deen, but rather J.C. Staff.
- Following those announcements, a Konosuba concert was announced and a Blu-ray BOX of the first season was as well. The concert announcement also revealed that it will be held February 2nd & 3rd, 2019. As for the movie, it is not clear when it will come out. The good news is though that even if the studio has changed, the seiyuu and staff from the tv series remain unchanged. The announcement key visual for the movie is below.

We all know why Studio Deen was dropped. The art was a mess in season two.
