What You Need to Know:
- Over the holiday, the horror manga series from Yasutaka Fujimi & REDICE, Kyochuu Rettou (The Island of Giant Insects), announced that an anime adptation is in the works for the series. It has not been confirmed as to whether or not this will be a TV Anime.
- Kyochuu Rettou tells the story of a plane that goes down over an island. In it, is a class of students on a school trip. They surmise that it will be about three days until help comes. They try to survive but miss, at least at first, the fact that the island is inhabited with giant insects which view humans as food. The horror survival manga is about seeing how many students can make it off the island.
- Passione will be the studio in charge while Takeo Takahashi will direct, Shigeru Morita will write the script, and Takayuki Noguchi will handle character design. More information is slated to come out in two weeks, so stay tuned for updates!
