What You Need to Know:
- Kyochuu Rettou (The Island of the Giant Insects) has announced today that the series is moving into the next phase. The series previously released an OVA for the manga, and today, they have launched a crowdfunding campaign on crowdfire.
- The series has a goal of 2,400,000 yen (~22,000 USD) and the utlimate goal is to make a movie! The series offers many tiers to enter in starting at about 30 USD all the way to about 1,000 USD. Many come with unique titles like "Advanced Suvivor: 80% survival rate~", "Someone on the trip. (We can't guarantee you'll survive on the island)", and more.
- As of writing this article, the campaign has already secured 38% of their funding (~9,000 USD) and has another 33 days until the campaign closes.
