Synopsis
On the outskirts of Saitama, there was a castle inhabited by an immortal and fearsome vampire. A vampire hunter by the name of Ronaldo was hired to save a kid who went to the castle but never returned. What he found there was indeed an immortal, but it was a small fry vampire named Draluc that dies at the slightest things, turning into a pile of ash. And as it turns out, the kid was not captured by Draluc, but rather just enjoyed playing in the castle.
Ronaldo was a little careless on his mission and accidentally destroyed the castle. Draluc was now without a home, so he rolled up to Ronaldo’s office and moved in. Due to a strange turn of events, Draluc and Ronaldo team up, writing articles and dealing with any incidents that arise.

Draluc: Jun Fukuyama
A 208-year-old vampire. If he is physically or mentally attacked in any way, he dies and turns into dust. Fortunately, he regenerates quickly. He lived in his grandfather’s old castle on the outskirts of town with John, but things got out of hand when Ronaldo came to exterminate him and the castle was destroyed. Draluc coerced Ronaldo into letting him and John stay in his office.
Ronaldo: Makoto Furukawa
A vampire hunter with a short temper who quickly resorts to violence to solve things, but is a compassionate young man at heart. He tries to drive Draluc out of his office whenever he sees a chance, but when he can’t, he passes off his work and everyday affairs to him instead.
John: Mutsumi Tamura
Draluc’s armadillo familiar. Only Draluc can understand what he says. He lives in Ronaldo’s office with Draluc. He’s cute and popular with the locals.
Hinaichi: Natsumi Hioka
A member of the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Anti-Vampire Division. She is small in stature but extremely talented and serves as vice-captain. She is a serious person but has some goofy moments.
Momo Handa: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka
A member of the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Anti-Vampire Division. He is half vampire, half human. Due to a certain incident, he views Ronaldo as a rival.
Hiyoshi: Daisuke Ono
Captain of the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Anti-Vampire Division. He is Hinaichi and Handa’s supervisor.
Satetsu: Yoshimasa Hosoya
A vampire hunter. A good-natured and sensible person who tends to get dragged into other people’s problems.
Shot: Atsushi Tamaru
A vampire hunter. A cool customer who fights using a rope with iron claws on the end.
Fukuma: Toki Shunichi
A young but talented editor at Autumn Bookstore. He is in charge of chronicling Ronaldo’s exploits.
