- It's now official! Japanese publisher Shueisha has started Spanish support on its new global manga application and web service, “MANGA Plus by SHUEISHA”. On Jan 29th, the platform kicked things off with providing official English support to fans around the world.
- With service worldwide (with the exception of Japan, Korea, and China), “MANGA Plus by SHUEISHA” provides official access new releases of popular manga, at the same time as Japan, for free. Since it's release, the app has risen in the app charts to become number 1 in the books category for the App Store, and the Comic category for the Google Play Store.
- A total of 27 titles will be available in Spanish. 12 ongoing series such as “ONE PIECE”, “My Hero Academia”, “Boruto”, “Dragon Ball Super”, etc. 15 completed series such as “Dragon Ball”, “Tokyo Ghoul”, “JoJo's Bizarre Adventure”, “NARUTO”, etc.
- This marks the first time that Shonen Jump titles will be updated in Spanish at the same time as their release in Japan. For users of the website version, changing to Spanish in the language settings will allow you to access Spanish translated content.
