- Death Note is a show that's jam packed with wild events that literally leave you on the edge of your seat, itching to know what happens next. With so much suspense, and psychological warfare happening continuously it can be overwhelming at times to really pick up on everything. Whether it be a shocking death scene or Yagami Light playing mind games with L in hopes to avoid being exposed, Death Note is a detective fans dream come true.
- Today we have yet another memorable moment in the show and this has to do with Misa, one of the influential characters throughout the show and a catalyst for what happens later on in the show. In this moment, Misa Amane, a famous model is a strong follower and supporter of Light's philosophy of cleansing the world of evil. She, along with her shinigami Rem, work alongside Light to aid him as a way to display her love towards him. She sacrifices half of her life in the process twice, in order to receive the powerful eyes of the shinigami, which gives the user the ability to know the person's name just by looking at their face.
- Sadly, all of this love was one-sided as Light only used Misa as a pawn in order to further his schemes and ultimately Misa relinquishing her ownership of the Death Note, losing all of her memories in the process. Little is known about what happens after the incident, as the anime finale sees Misa standing on the edge of a skyscraper staring hopelessly into the sunset...
I saw this coming for her...
I hate to admit it too but yeah...her love made her blind to Light's manipulative ways.
