Alice Nakiri made this list the first time around, and she made it again! This intelligent, science-oriented chef fights her way to the top of everything she cares to do. She has goals, and Alice knows that to get to the top, she will have to rely on herself to do it. Alice gives off a cool exterior and a calculating mask, but she is forward-thinking and keeping those she cares about in mind, as her empathy often comes into play. This character comes from a family with high expectations, and she meets them head-on with her determination and skill.

Saki is a little more "in tuned" to people than the next person. Nicknamed "Hana," she is the class goth-loli girl who interprets a lot about others from the electric waves they give off. She lives an otherwise-normal life with her family and cares deeply about her best friend, Tooru. Saki is okay with causing others a little discomfort to see that her friend is treated appropriately. She was born with a mind that can sense more than usual, but Saki cannot be bothered to do more than the minimum in class or during gym. She is a wonderful friend, has her own style, and gives other Aquarius signs a good name!

Next up is someone that every My Hero Academia fan enjoys. Tsuyu or "Tsu" is someone who can remain calm in a moment of chaos. She is not emotionally influenced in her decision, which makes her a powerful ally. Though the quirk gives her abilities reminiscent of a frog, do not let any surface-level goofiness fool you. Tsuyu is hero material. Her ability to think critically and creatively in finding a solution are Aquarius traits that serve her well, regularly.

Nico Robin, the "demon child," was wanted by the World Government from a young age. As the last archaeologist from her homeland, she wandered out into the world for herself before meeting pirates and a ship she could call home. With nobody to rely on, the sense of independence and self-reliance that Aquarius signs are known for are traits Robin has. She is clever, creative, and cute, but on the other side of that pleasant cohort is a temper that can't be quelled when she feels her friends are at risk. When her "demon" side awakens against enemies, her capacity for mercy has run out.

Our absolute favorite Aquarius girl is Maki Zenin. Maki is a powerhouse who can fight with her hands and many different weapons. Though she is a worthy opponent, she has a fatal flaw for someone who fights demons. Maki can't see them. She has no cursed power to fight with and no ability to see what would come her way if her glasses were lost. Even though she was born at a massive disadvantage, it seems to mean almost nothing to her. She is an Aquarius, and she will survive.

Maki has had to learn things the hard way in life. Because of her birth without cursed energy, Maki is blocked from progressing as a Jujutsu sorcerer from the same noble family that she hails from.

While Kiki is one of the youngest on this list, she is strong-willed and fights for what she believes in. Her personality makes her seem much more mature than others on this list but in order to maintain a light-hearted feel, Ghibli makes her somewhat goofy and compassionate. As a young witch, she is forced to learn responsibility and she quickly learns what it means to trust someone. Her closest relationship is with her cat, Jiji. They have a close bond and while she is cordial to others, she maintains a close confidence with Jiji alone. These traits help her earn a spot on our list of the top female Aquariuses.

We have combined these two characters because Rem and Ram are so similar and as twins, they display many of the same traits. This is not to say that they don’t have many separate characteristics but when it comes to the main traits of the Aquarius, they maintain many similarities. Both characters initially put up a hard exterior. They may display their emotions later when they become more trusting of Subaru but they both maintain a cold distance at first. They are also very secure for the most part. They know who they are and are not ashamed of where they come from. Their relationships display this as they open up. Both Ram and Rem are unique characters, but when combined, it is easy to see that they were raised together.

Sailor Uranus, also known as Haruka Tenou, is highly independent and wishes to destroy all of the universe’s foes on her own. When the other Sailor Soldiers try to help, she is cold to them and wants to fight by herself. She often sees others as a bother and seeks to walk her path by herself. While she trusts the other Sailor Soldiers, she does not wish to see them get hurt and this is often what causes strife between them. She is extremely temperamental and does not understand why the others get so upset with her. While she is hard-headed she seeks comfort with the other Sailors when in need. She displays many traits of an Aquarius and allows her a spot on our list.

Ayame may not support her friends in battle, but she can make a mean ramen. Thus, she creates ramen that she knows will inspire Naruto. Ayame can be cold when it comes to meeting new people but she knows that she can trust in Naruto and will do everything in her power to support him. She excels in the kitchen and can be trusted there. Ayame knows her strengths and always works toward bettering herself. She is an inspiration despite not being a main character or one most powerful characters in Naruto.

Halle Lidner is one of the operatives in search of Kirra. She has an innate sense of right and wrong and nothing causes her to stray from her path. She seeks an ideal human world where no one can cause the amount of destruction that Kirra is causing. She is extremely trusting of her friends and those she works with. Her allies and friends are often those who she fights alongside. In order to maintain her ideals, she must make use of her trust and her cold exterior to maintain her goals as many Aquariuses do.

Mayuri is one of the most compassionate characters on this list. Despite being surrounded by geniuses, she is able to hold her own and make her place among them. She is a breath of fresh air in an anime that would have otherwise seemed pretentious. Mayuri’s main goal is to make everyone happy and while this may not be a marketable skill such as cooking, she is able to pave the way for a workplace with much less tension. She is creative and seeks for new ways to constantly cosplay along with her friends. She is the embodiment of the positive traits of an Aquarius.

Suzune Horikita is a character who rarely shows her emotion. She is cold and rude when it comes to interacting with most people. However, she is very intelligent and believes that this will get her far in life. She is very blunt which deters most people and expects nothing less from them. Lies are Suzune’s most hated things and she looks down on anyone who participates or circulates them. While Mayuri embodies the positive traits, you could say that Suzune embodies the negative traits of the Aquarius.

When Haruhi transferred into Ouran High School, she was single-mindedly focused on her grades. After her encounter with the host club, she was forced to set her sights on another venture as well. However, this did not discourage Haruhi at all and she put everything that she had into both her school work and the host club. While she is often even-tempered, she can lose her cool, especially around Tamaki. While she may not easily admit it, she puts a lot of trust in the members of the host club and would do her best to protect them. She stands up for what is right, even if it means standing alone which helps her to gain a high ranking, not only in her classes but on our list as well.

While many Aquariuses are quick to anger, Mikasa possesses a high level of self-restraint and can keep her head even in the most dire of situations. However, she is very standoffish and does not easily connect with people. Mikasa is extremely close to her friends and sees them as the remainder of her family. This allows her to put her trust in a select few and set her fury on those who have wronged them. Mikasa has a clear path and seeks to achieve her plans at any cost. These traits, when put together, make her a top Aquarius on our list.

Alice Nakiri is a powerhouse in the kitchen. With a specialization in molecular gastronomy, she is constantly looking for ways to better her cooking in order to beat her cousin. She also holds constant food battles in order to learn new techniques and continue to push herself. Alice is quite cold-hearted when she is first seen. She saves her soft feelings for long-time friends and rarely shows them even to family. She is a fighter and is not worried about stepping on others toes in order to achieve what she wants. She is a true Aquarius and is constantly creating and innovating.
