Synopsis
MUTEKING is set in the free and cheerful coastal town of Neo San Francisco. The kind-hearted boy Muteki moves to Neo San Francisco and meets DJ, who claims to be a DJ, and finds himself thrust into the role of the dancing hero Muteking. To save the town from monsters who suddenly appear, Muteki and DJ fight with song and dance, but little do they know that behind these strange events, a true danger to humanity is approaching…

Muteki is a kind-hearted boy. He meets a guy named DJ in Neo San Francisco and is transformed into Muteking. However, he’s reluctant to sing and dance in the flashy Muteking suit. He has feelings for Aida.
DJ: Takuya Eguchi
DJ is an energetic guy who lives life by the seat of his pants. He can make Muteki transform into Muteking with the giant boombox he is always carrying around.
Ceo: Satoshi Hino
Ceo is the head of the major IT conglomerate Octink, which provides various services to the city of Neo San Francisco. He does pottery as a hobby.
Aida: Rie Takahashi
Aida is a young girl who works at a diner while aspiring to become an idol. She often messes up customers’ orders. Whether she does it on purpose or she’s just scatterbrained, no one knows for sure.

Aurora is a Super Artist in Neo San Francisco.
Ann: Madoka Yonezawa
Ann is the secretary of Ceo. She is his right-hand person.
Naomi: Azusa Tadokoro
Naomi runs an occult channel. She has a lot of passion, but it usually doesn’t bear any fruit.
Sarah: Rikako Aikawa
Sarah is Muteki's grandmother. She is a party girl who can stay up all night and knows many people.
Vivi: Kazuyuki Okitsu
Vivi is a shop owner of a game center and is also active as a drag queen. Vivi is like a mother for Haru, Summer, Aki and Winter. People who are selected by Vivi can call Vivi "Sister Vivi".
Haru : Keiga
Haru is the firstborn son of four siblings. He hates losing. Whenever he plays shooting games, he always chooses weapons with rapid-fire.
Summer : Hayato Kimura
Summer is the second born son of four siblings. He is kind and has a laid-back personality. He’s really good at racing games.
Aki: Minami Tanaka
Aki is the eldest daughter of four siblings. She’s a mischievous girl who is interested in Muteki.
Winter : Kotaro Nishiyama
Winter is the baby of the family. She’s a thoughtful person despite the fact that, instead of joining in conversations, she prefers to just sit there and play her games.
Suteking : KENN
Suteking is fashionable guy who is always at the cutting edge of fashion. He seems to know DJ.
Owen: Kenichi Suzumura
Owen is a former mayor of Neo San Francisco. He's gone missing.

Matt is one of the regular customers of the diner where Aida woks.
Tommy: Takashi Matsuyama
Tommy is one of the regular customers at the diner where Aida works.
George: Watary Hatano
George is the MC for "Rakin'TV". He is the manager of all TV channels in Neo San Francisco.
