- MyAnimeList (MAL) and Honeyfeed announce the highly anticipated MAL x HF Writing Contest 2023, offering aspiring writers in the anime community a chance to see their stories transformed into manga published by the renowned Kodansha. This collaborative contest aims to ignite the creative talents of anime enthusiasts and provide a platform to showcase their writing prowess.
- The contest submission window spans from June 1 to August 31, 2023. Following the submission period, the MyAnimeList and Honeyfeed communities will have the opportunity to participate in the voting process, determining the winners in an engaging and inclusive manner. The finals will be open for public voting from October 30 to November 30, 2023.
- Winners will not only receive a monetary reward but also the potential to have their work presented to Kodansha, a renowned publishing company in Japan, for a chance to be adapted into a light novel or manga.
- To participate, contestants are required to create a Wholesome Romance novel from the Male Point of View (POV).
- The winners of the MAL x HF Writing Contest 2023 will be announced on December 12, 2023.
