It also reminds me of Nichijou, where there was this genius girl who also created a sister-like robot.
Gotta love these absurd comedy anime! I really don't know what to expect here, and I say it ina good way.
The premise is kinda creepy though, at least there's a colorful vibe to it.

Synopsis
The genius girl, Null, loses her sister in an accident, but it’s okay! Using her knowledge, she succeeds in creating her beloved sister, Peta, as a robot!
However, isn’t Peta who’s been revived as a robot a little bit different from how she was before? This is a slapstick comedy between the younger sister, Null, and her older robot sister, Peta!
