What does that mean?
Rokuhoudou-Yotsuiro-Biyori-300x450 Three Episode Impression: Rokuhoudou Yotsuiro Biyori Fujoshi Fodder or Bishounen Paradise?
Cute boys talking about delicious food, sweets, and drinks all with their personalities meshing and clashing while giving us enough manservice to make us happy. I love this idea! Now if only they could feed each other food, help each other do things together, and then finally kiss. Then it might be the best anime ever.

Synopsis

This is Rokuhoudou, a Japanese-style cafe.

Sui is the owner in charge of tea, Gre is in charge of latte art, Tokitaka is in charge of food, and Tsubaki is in charge of sweets.

These four, with their individual specialities, work at this popular hidden cafe.

While serving their customers, they also help solve their customers worries. Now, who will today’s customer be…?

Three Episode Impression

Have you ever wanted an iyashi-kei slice of life anime with bishounen? Well, you’ve got it with Rokuhoudou Yotsuiro Biyori, which starts off feeling exactly like that. Similar to anime like Gochuumon wa Usagi desu ka? and Blend S, Rokuhoudou Yotsuiro Biyori is about a cafe and the men who work there. Right off the bat, it feels very much like a bishounen anime, but it’s very slice of life-y. For the most part, you’re just watching how these men run the cafe, and it’s kind of fun to see how they design a menu around seasonal items like strawberries. The latest episode showed that there’s a bit of drama involved, but I have a feeling it won’t be all that dramatic. I think this is just going to be a rather pleasant slice of life anime involving desserts and bishounen, and while I’m not a fan of the artwork, I think it’ll be a nice anime to watch this season when you just want to kick back and relax!
