Shouji Kawamori's New TV Anime to Be Announced October 17th!

What You Need to Know:

• This year is a big year for Shouji Kawamori. This is the 25th anniversary of his creation, the Macross franchise, and it seems as if, after all of the announcements of other events, that we are finally going to get information on his new TV series.
• Currently just titled THE NEXT, he previously announced that after the highly successful installment of Macross Delta into the franchise, he is going to make a series in 2018 to celebrate the anniversary of the series. Well that date has come. October 17th, he is going to hold an event in Roppongi that is going to reveal not only the title, but the participating seiyuu and some staff will be in attendance as well.
• The website teases that "this is the story of humanity grasping 'possiblity.'" Look forward to more information then!

A sequel to singing space waifus Macross Delta?!

I sure hope so! I really liked that anime!
