What You Need to Know:
- It has been revealed in the latest volume of Margaret manga magazine that Mika Yamamori's shoujo manga, Hirunaka no Ryuusei (Daytime Shooting Star), will be getting a live-action movie adaptation sometime in 2017.
- The story follows Suzume Yosano as she moves to Tokyo and ends up falling in love with her teacher. The series is known amongst fans to be a delicate portrayal of teenage love, as well as a real punch in the feels.
- The movie will be directed by Takehiko Shinjo, who was in charge of the Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso live action movie. Naoko Adachi, the scriptwriter for the live action of Shitsuren Chocolatier, will be in charge of the script.
Another romcom live action... Well, I guess they work better than some other genres...
I'm worried about this since the Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso live action wasn't great... Please don't ruin one of my favourite manga!
