The decision to produce a second season of an anime is largely determined by its Blu-Ray sales, and the figures are an important topic of concern among modern anime fans.
However, due to the expensive prices of the discs, increasing number of anime titles each season, and other reasons, there is a downward trend seen in Blu-Ray sales overall. So what are the questions that arise when deciding whether or not to buy the Blu-Rays?
We will introduce a collection of comments from Twitter and other discussion boards below!
Is it entertaining?
Whether I like it or don't like it.
I'll buy any series that captures my heart.
I pay money if I feel it's entertaining enough.
Anything that I'll enjoy
The most common reason was that they simply enjoyed the show.
Is it uncensored?
It contains ecchi scenes
If it reveals the nipples
If there are no mysterious white beams of light
When aired on TV, censorship is cast through a mysterious beam of light. Fans buy BDs for the uncensored scenes.
Do I want to re-watch it?
Whether I think I'll be rewatching it
If it's a comedy where I know the punchlines, I won't buy it regardless of how much enjoyed it the first time.
If the action scenes are good, I feel a need to buy it.
Honestly I don't rewatch that many series
People buy series that they feel that they'll rewatch, whether it be for the action scenes or other cool cuts.
What's in the Package?
Because the package and the booklet inside is cute.
