Now, we finally get to the juicy part of the panel. GUNDAM GALORE!!!!! *Ahem…* Sunrise tudios also didn’t forget to mention that they have a new replacement Gundam in Odaiba, the Unicorn Gundam! Telling people to check it out if they ever go to Tokyo—and let’s be real, he didn’t need to say that. We’re already on it! Previously living in Japan and seeing the original Gundam Statue myself, it is pretty damn cool—and to make sure you also check out the Gundam Base store in Tokyo as well. Available for the first time on Blu-ray/DVD is the first season of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 10th Anniversary Ultra Edition Blu-Ray currently available for pre-order at $168.99 from the base price of $259.99. The collector’s edition ships out Sept 4th, so make sure you plan ahead of time if you want this bad boy. Special Features to include a Clean Openings, Clean Endings, Tactical Forecasts, Japanese Audio Commentaries, Promotional Videos, Trailers, and Chibi Shorts. A physical Extras and Special Features are also planned but are subject to change. Right now, and based on the image for it, you get the discs—both the TV series and movies—with their cases and special art covers for each one, you also get 2 two-piece disc cover boxes to accompany the discs, and limited edition items such as postcards, keychains, stickers, and an art book!

Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-blooded Orphans season 1 & 2 for Blu-ray/DVD was also revealed! Interestingly, it is available already but not together so in this case, we weren’t too sure if they were talking about a set that contains both the first and second seasons of Iron-Blooded Orphans but if they did, that would make sense!

Gundam Build Divers was also brought to our attention, stating that the prologue is currently available and that the regular season is also available to watch on Streaming sites such as Crunchyroll.

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origins VI was lastly announced, stating that for the first time you will be able to revisit the lives of those involved in the beginnings of the Universal Century. And to really get people pumped, they went ahead and announced a new anime called Mobile Suit Gundam: Narrative, which takes place after the UC-0079—1 year after Laplace’s box was opened—and is going to be from the Universal Century era of an untold story. To add more to this awesome surprise, A new Gundam will also be introduced which will be in 3 forms where having its two main forms join together, make up the 3rd and final form of the new Gundam.

New Gunpla are already in the works to showcase these new forms and to solidify it all, it is beginning production next year—I think?! They are bringing back the original staff from the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn series to work on the Narrative project so it will surely be the best as it’s always been.

Sunrise also wanted to make sure that everyone knew about the game “New Gundam Breakers” that was recently released! Saying that this will be one of the best Gundam games they have ever done where you can build your Gunpla to your specifications and when you are done, you can take it out to battle for a test run. There are all sorts of combinations you can choose from so make sure to choose wisely!

Now, for the last announcement—and it was a special one—,they revealed that a live-action Gundam movie is in the works with Legendary Studios, bigtime Hollywood studio behind the new Jurassic Park films, Interstellar, Pacific Rim, and many more, is taking the helm to produce something that we all can get behind. With the 40th Anniversary of Gundam coming up, they want to make sure to celebrate by going all out! Let’s hope that things turn out great as no other information was announced. The one absolute thing we do know is that Bandai Namco is 100% backing this project so there should be no reason for it to fail. It can’t fail! With Legendary in control of the script and the design of the Gundam, with Bandai overseeing things, it should be one of the best live-actions to date!
