Accelerator sits at the top, as the most powerful esper in the city. He is one of the seven rumored exceedingly powerful espers of the city, and due to his excessive ability as the top esper of the city, he spends his days being bloodthirsty. He is finally defeated by the aberrant ‘experiments’ that he is forced to repeat over and over for the sake of discovering absolute power. Soon after, he encounters a certain girl named Last Order, who greatly changes his fate.

Accelerator

Voice Actor: Nobuhiko Okamoto

Accelerator is the strongest of the seven Level 5 espers of Academy City. He is able to freely control all vectors and in order to do so, possesses the ability to rapidly calculate them. Normally, he uses these powers to reflect things around him, and his albino-like features are due to the fact that he reflects ultraviolet light. Since birth, he’s wanted to go from ‘strongest’ to ‘unrivaled’, which is why he participated in the Level 6 Shift experiment. The experiment was cancelled, but because he saved Last Order who was involved in it, he suffered serious injuries and is now recovering.

Last Order

Voice Actor: Rina Hidaka

Last Order is the final sister of the ‘sisters’ project. Because she awoke part of the way through the growth process, she hasn’t aged past 10 years old. She has a child-like personality, and is the most lively of all of the ‘sisters.’ Last Order has a unique way of speaking and talks rapidly. However, she often says the one thing that leads everyone to the truth, so she really can’t be disliked. It is currently unknown if her personality is a specially created one as part of the Mikasa network or not. While running away from an experiment, she meets Accelerator. She becomes completely attached to him when he saves her at the risk of his own life, and relies on him heavily.

Estelle Rosenthal

Voice Actor: Yurika Kubo

Estelle was invited to Academy City for the purpose of assisting with a certain project. She’s a necromancer. She works to save Last Order due to certain circumstances and is currently being pursued by an organization known as ‘DA.’

Kato

Voice Actor: Sayumi Watanabe

Kato is a pseudo-ghost being who was created when Estelle failed to properly connect a spirit to a human corpse due to a faulty spiritual connection when she performed necromancy. Kato is one of the Rosenthal Third Number beings and once her spirit was attached to a physical body, she gained a personality and serves a necromancy practitioner. Her physical ability greatly outclasses that of a human, but the issue is that her body cannot withstand surpassing her limits, therefore, she wears a limiter.

Sisters

Voice Actor: Nozomi Sasaki

Sisters are military-use clones made from mapping Mikoto Misaka’s DNA to help with a certain experiment. Sister’s ability is called ‘Radio Noise’ and is somewhere around a level two or three esper ability. Technically there are over 20,000 sisters in existence and they are just collectively referred to as ‘Sisters’. Due to their setting of being unable to be emotional, actual emotion from Sisters is rare and their oddly monotone way of speaking is their characteristic, but you can see vistigaes from Mikoto in Sisters from their crude speech and conduct and their love of cute things. They are currently being rates at research institutions across Japan, undergoing treatment.
