It was a great rivalry and an evenly matched fight. The strategic approach and the mind games, which the anime is known for was a huge suspense builder for this scene. It was a great moment for anime fans to finally watch Sakura and Ino set their differences aside and just give their all.
9. Mirai Nikki [The Future Diary] (Minene vs Muru Muru)

The Story of Mirai Nikki revolves around Yukiteru Amano, a student that prefers to be alone, spending most of his time writing a diary on his cell phone. Deus, the God of time and space suddenly reveals his true identity to Yukiteru and grants him a “Future Diary” and puts him ,among eleven other participants, in a battle royale among others holding powerful diaries. Each “future diary” is unique and has special abilities and all of the contestants must now kill one another in order to survive and become the new god of time and space.
This top 10 list will not be complete without mentioning Mirai Nikki, The fight between Minene and Muru Muri is cruel and violent as any anime can get. This fast paced action scene is incredible to watch even if you repeat it a couple of times. The life and death setting also adds to this exciting and gruesome fight. Do not underestimate the cuteness of Muru Muri as she is no walk in the park opponent. Filled with dark magic and graceful acrobatic movements, this scene will be remembered as one of the best anime girl fights ever created. Keeping the samurai way of thinking within themselves, they must now try to maintain the perfect balance of friendship they had before, while dealing with the change these two girls have brought to their group.
While compiling a list of great anime battles among girls, Momoyo was instantaneously a good choice because she is just an awesome character. This particular scene proves why she should be mentioned on this list. Battling three young students on her own is no easy task and she does not seem to overpower them either. The balance of not knowing who will win despite the heavy disadvantage is what made this scene epic. We’ve all seen sword fighting with magical powers between girls before but, we have never seen a single girl take on three opponents all at once and still hold her ground. This action packed anime should keep you busy and entertained for a while.
7. Manyū Hiken-chō [Manyuu Hikenchou] (Chifusa vs. Kagefusa)

An old clan of warriors known as the Manyuu has inherited a special ability to strike their opponent that would not severely hurt them but rather shrink their bust size. It may sound like a useless skill to have but, in this particular era, large breasts signify wealth and popularity. Chifusa, the chosen successor of the Manyuu clan has not fully accepted her clan’s traditions and even grew disgusted with the Manyuu’s breast obsession. She decides to run away stealing the sacred scroll that posses various secret techniques on how to have huge and beautiful breasts. Now considered as an enemy of her own clan, she must defend herself in order to finally bring equality on the Manyuu clan.
Fan service has always been a secret reason for why we love anime girls so much. To see ninja girls fighting with big breasts, regardless of how simple the sword fighting might be, will always be very entertaining to watch. The battle between Chifusa and Kagefusa is exactly that. Despite the simplicity of it, what really hooked our attention to it was the amount of fan service that was inserted into making this scene. We also felt that the conclusion of the battle was also a fun twist which made it very memorable. You might say that we are simple minded anime geeks but, it’s hard not to like an anime when you see battles with bouncing breasts. If you are looking for an ecchi anime with a lot of fighting scenes that will keep you smiling regardless of how predictable they may be, you are surely going to enjoy Manyu Hiken-Cho.
6. Ikkitosen [Ikki Tousen ] (Hakufu Sonsaku vs. Kanu Unchou)

Ikkitosen revolves around the story of Hakufu Sonsaku, a beautiful but dim-witted student who is destined to unite a long time turf war among seven schools. Drawing the power from these magical beads, these students have been blessed with great abilities to be used against each other. Hakufu’s presence has alarmed the other schools as she seems to impose a threat to this long term war. Destined to fight, she struggles to put a stop to the endless battles while also dealing with her own dark warrior side.
A list of girls fighting is not complete without panty shots and bouncing boobies. It should not come to a surprise to you that Ikkitousen is filled with a lot of clothes-ripping fight scenes since most of the girl characters barely keep their clothes on during battles. This particular battle is no exception and we don’t see any reason to complain about the loss of clothing in it. It is a fierce battle and clothing just gets in the way! Did you mention super powers? Okay. This anime has martial arts and powers but with less clothing, what more can you ask for?

Everything seems normal as she goes about her routine to rid the city of evil but she is mostly left uneasy sensing misfortune and danger ahead of her. She tries to uncover the mysteries behind the cruel fate that awaits magical girls but in the process crosses paths with an unexpected rival. This movie is a based off the Mahou Shoujo Madoka franchise that will close the story about these five magical girls.
If you can’t hold your breath for about six to seven minutes, you might want to practice now because the battle between Akemi Homura and Tomoe Mami will keep you breathless. If you think you have seen all the finest gun battles among girls, then surely you have missed one of the most epic bullet frenzy duels in anime history. This is not an exaggeration, we speak only the truth because this fight is both superbly animated and is just well thought of. If you are new to the Mahou Shoujo Madoka Franchise, we highly recommend giving the series and the other movies a chance as they are definitely worth watching.

A twist of fate has brought them together on an agreement to help each other with their crushes, who happen to be both of their best friends. Toradora! is a romantic comedy filled with a surprising fight scene that only made it better. Fall in love with this duo while they help each other out to pursue their love interests.
We all love to see women fight! Don’t we? Have you ever seen women fight in school? Well if you still haven’t, you will owe us big time when you see this awesome fight between Taiga and Sumire. The perfect phrase to describe it is “short and sweet”. The build up and unpredictability of the fight is what made it to this list. Girls in school uniforms fighting with wooden swords?! He finds himself in the care of a covert group of assassins that was assembled to overthrow the current Prime Minister. Faced with a lot of challenges, the Night Raid’s ideals have convinced Tatsumi to join the group and together they must eliminate the Empire who has left their nation in ruins.
If you are looking for great fight scenes, Akame ga Kill! is packed with plenty of superpower fights that are visually entertaining to watch. One that particularly caught our attention is the fight between Akame and Esdeath. This is how a magical sword fights should be, you’ll never know who will win until the last moment. It is a back and forth exchange between two equally powerful deadly assassins trying to impose their will on each other. Be ready to feast your eyes on one epic fight scene as they use all their powers to defeat one another. We highly suggest you watch the whole series to appreciate the conclusion to their battle.
2. Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya (Illya vs Alter Saber)

The story starts off with Illyasviel von Einzbern, a normal school girl that was bestowed with magical powers by the magical Kaleidostick Ruby. Rin Tohsaka, the original master of the ruby, was initially assigned by the powerful wizard Zelretch to gather spirits of Heroic Spirits from legends transformed into Class Cards. She is now pressured to assist Illya in completing her task as her magical presence somehow attracted the Magical Ruby. Both of them must now face fierce rivals who are also after these magical Class Cards unlocking the mysteries behind them.
The Fate/Stay Night franchise is known for their epic magical fights and Fate/Kaleid liner Prisma Illya is no exception to this. The battle itself is intense and full of bright magical action. Fans of swords and blades will surely love this epic scene as both Alter Saber and Illya are using their full power to defeat each other. The magical twist to the fight is what made this scene part of our list as it truly is very pleasing to watch. Even if you are not familiar with the franchise, you will still definitely love this anime because of the great story and animation in it.
1. Kill la Kill (Kiryuin Satsuki vs Matoi Ryuko)

Kill la Kill is the perfect anime to start off our list because it’s impressive in so many different levels. The story is about Ryuuko Matoi who has been searching for her father’s killer. Equipped with only a half-scissor shaped weapon, she enters Honnouji Academy to try and find the culprit. Unfortunately, the school is ruled by Satsuki Kiryuuin along with some powerful student council members. She stumbles into meeting Senketsu, a talking uniform also known as a “Kamui” or God Clothing. Senketsu helps her to awaken a new power that will give her a chance against the elite members of the school and get a lead on her father’s murderer by looking for the other half of the scissor blade.
This is a high paced show overflowing with great action scenes. The build-up on how Ryuuko Matoi encounters Kiryuuin Satsuki is just epic in all proportions. Their amazing uniform transformations will make any anime fan drool plus the impressive battle scene itself is just something words cannot describe. You will have to experience it yourself. If you are familiar with the action that Gainax brings to the table, then you’ll surely have a lot of fun watching this action packed series.
