As one of the main female protagonists of Food Wars! Megumi Tadokoro is a timid and thoughtful girl who speaks politely and looks out for other people. She loves assisting others and aspires to eventually run her mother’s ryokan, a Japanese-style inn. While being naturally hospitable and generous is a great quality of the Sagittarius personality, she also gets stage fright and is easily intimidated by others, causing her to make simple mistakes. During her first cooking assignment, she unwittingly left her pot unattended, allowing rivals to sabotage her and her partner’s cooking by adding in too much salt! This causes her to panic, and she has to rely on her partner to rescue the day. Additionally, she is cautious and acts thoughtfully to avoid bad consequences. Since Sagittarius personalities are reputed to be blunt and occasionally rash, Megumi is unique in this fashion.

Chino is one of the main characters of Is The Order a Rabbit? While she is among the youngest members, she acts more mature than others of her age and gets annoyed when she is seen as a child or when people act rudely or recklessly around her. In actuality, she is the most responsible member working at the Rabbit House Café and is good at keeping order. In terms of personality, she is reserved and hardly smiles, though it’s evident she cares deeply about her friends. It takes a lot of time for her to get used to people, but as the series goes on she does become a bit friendlier and forms a strong bond with Cocoa, another member of the cafe. Because of her quiet and serious nature, she doesn’t quite line up with the stereotypical Sagittarius person, but she’s an endearing character all the same.

Lykos is the female protagonist of Children of the Whales. As a former soldier of the Allied Empire, Lykos’s emotions are initially repressed by magic. Even as she gains independence from this magic and begins feeling more emotions, she remains introverted and quiet. While this part of Lykos’s personality does not seem to line up with that of the stereotypical Sagittarius, she is also strongly independent, having survived by herself for so long prior to meeting the other main characters. After meeting them, she forms a strong relationship with them and comes to care deeply about them. When her friends and the island they are inhabiting are attacked by the Falaina Extermination Forces, she risks her life to protect her allies and her freedom, which is definitely characteristic of a Sagittarius!

Being a hand-picked soldier of the Survey Corps, Petra Ral is a skilled fighter and is good at responding to danger quickly and flexibly. She assists in the killing of countess Titans and also looks after wounded soldiers on the battlefield. Kindhearted and caring, she is extremely respectful and loyal to her superiors while guiding the younger members of the squad. To Erin, the protagonist of Attack on Titan, she becomes a big sister figure to him and convinces him to give his unconditional trust to the squad. Risking her life to save people despite the terrifying realities of war against the Titans and being loyal and open-hearted to her colleagues, Petra is an ideal example of a Sagittarius personality!

As one of the main characters of K-On! Yui is a fearless and sometimes air-headed character who loves having fun! She is extremely friendly to others and is often seen holding hands or hugging her friends. Despite having no prior musical experience, she joins the Light Music Club and plays the guitar without any sort of hesitation. She doesn’t get stage fright and isn’t scared of messing up! She’s the type of person to ignore instructions and instead does things by trial and error. While competitive, she also feels comfortable relying on the help of her close friends. Yui checks off all the traits of the classic Sagittarius: friendly, open-hearted, generous, life of the party, and independent. We believe she deserves this number 1 spot!

Yumiko Miura does not have the generous nature that is common among other Sagittarii. As the most popular girl in class, Yumiko has little problem with creating new relationships and is sought after by many of the males. Her ability to have pretty much no filter makes her brutally honest and a little scary to others. This combination of traits allows her a spot on our list but she falls to the bottom because of her lack of genuine generosity and humor that is seen in other Sagittarii.

This child prodigy is full of book smarts. Her proud nature allows her to flaunt her position as a pilot and issue insults to many of those around her. In order to have a relationship with her, she only deems those that are self-proficient worthy of her time. Asuka puts up a hard exterior to hide her gentler and insecure emotions that occasionally float to the surface and present themselves as irritability. As a strong lead female character, she is an inspiration to us all but falls to the bottom of our list for lacking the main Sagittarius qualities.

Despite being a famous popstar, Mei’s attitude remains more cold and cynical than ever. She does not hold any of the positive traits of the Sagittarius at first glance. However, once she warms up a bit she becomes more generous. She is extremely impatient and is not afraid to hurt others feelings with her sharp words. Mei is a difficult person to get along with and is not worried about having no one around her. She ruins her relationships easily by pushing those close to her away. This makes her fall low on our list because of her lack of positive Sagittarius qualities.

Lita Kino, more commonly known as her alias Sailor Jupiter, is exceptionally powerful in her own right. Her martial arts skills are off the charts and with her added power of lightning, she is an invaluable member of Sailor Moon’s team. Lita is one of the more practical members of the team, she does not hold the idealist manner that other Sagittarii possess but prefers to remain rooted in reality. She often becomes impatient with the other Sailors because of their inability to grasp how dire the situations they are in truly are. This makes her fall to the bottom of our list despite her strength of character.

Megumin is easily irritated because she is often treated like a child. Her lively personality attracts others to her and her cheerful demeanor often gets others in her party to keep going with their mission. While Megumin is extremely powerful, she focuses her strength on explosive magic so she can only use it once before succumbing to exhaustion. Megumin can be seen as both an asset and a hindrance to her party because of her magic as she must be carried after each time she uses it. Her idealistic nature makes her an ideal Sagittarius and puts her higher up on our list.

Centorea is a very strong character. Her mind is often focused on battle and battle tactics as her centaur background encourages a chivalrous nature. She is also resolutely loyal to Kimihito after she declare him her master. Despite competition among the other girls, she does have a sort of motherly heir about her that allows her to help out the others when needed. While Centorea is generous towards Kimihito, she is very impatient with him along with others in the house which puts her at a spot on our list.

Yukiji puts up a cold exterior to those she doesn’t know but once she opens up, she becomes generous and warm. As the former lover of Tomoe, she is able to entrance the dangerous fox spirit and tame his dark nature. While Yukiji has a strong hate for yokai because of their destruction of her village, she is able to look past that when it comes to her love for the fox spirit. Her straightforward nature is an admirable trait in Sagittarii and earns her a high spot on our list.

Yoshino’s generosity towards Aki Adagaki is apparent from her first scene. She is always bringing her food and doing tasks that may seem demeaning. She generally hides her emotions and is grateful when around Aki, however around others she is brutally honest and seeks no approval from others. Yoshino is exceptionally patient with Aki but is easily frustrated when she focuses her attention on others. These traits are the true mark of a Sagittarius depending on who she is with. Her company can bring out either the positive or the negative side of her Sagittarius nature.

Sakura is an ideal Sagittarius because of her idealistic view of the world. She becomes blinded to things she doesn’t want to see and uses her strong willpower to achieve her goals despite how unattainable they might be. She is generous to her friends and is always willing to help out unless it interferes with her own goals. This is an example of her selfish nature and is made apparent when she pines for Yun despite his constant efforts to get away from her. Her patient nature is unlike that of a common Sagittarius however, the rest of her character is built up of the Sagittarius personality traits and earns her a top spot on our list.

While Ayame Kajou is displayed as an uptight student council vice president during the day, at night she has a secret alter ego that loves dirty jokes and strives for a more perverse community. Her status as the famed “The Blue in the Snow Field” is perpetuated as she strives to spread acts of terrorism throughout the community. She sees a more perverse world as a better world and is willing to do and say whatever it takes in her alter ego form to achieve her goals. This makes her an ideal Sagittarius and earns her the top spot on our list of females.
