Anime has always been a big part of my life, in the beginning I was too young to even know what anime was; like Pokémon, Sailor Moon etc. But it all became real with the release of Naruto in 2002. It was on a new Swedish TV channel and they had a commercial for a lot of new TV-shows which were going to air on the channel.

The one commercial that kind of stood out was a Japanese ad, Sarutobi, the Third Hokage telling the story about the Nine Tailed Demon Fox and you could see it for a few minutes. Thought it looked cool, but never really thought about it any more. A few months later a childhood friend of mine asked if I had seen this anime called Naruto, and he had almost the whole series on dvd and said, "Why don’t you take it, I've finished watching it anyway".

Afterwards, it was difficult not to be a big fan of Naruto, and while doing some research on anime. Right there, a new Otaku born. That was how it all begun and over the years while watching a few anime, some of them have really stuck and these are some of them.

Enjoy !

Kurosaki Ichigo is a 15 year old high school student, but not like all the others. He's always known as far as he can remember to have the ability to see ghosts and spirits. One day, Ichigo encounters the shinigami Kuchiki Rukia, who saves him and his family from a Hollow at the cost of injuring herself.

During this fight, Rukia is unable to defeat the hollow and transfers her shinigami powers into Ichigo. Afterwards, unable to continue with her job, Rukia allows Ichigo to take on the role of a shinigami as they together defeat the Hollows which haunt Ichigo's town.

Bleach is a clear favorite among a lot of anime lovers out there. And it’s pretty clear why. It has all the elements an awesome anime should have; Action, Drama, Comedy and great characters.

ore no imouto ga konnnani kawaii wake nai dvd
  • Episodes: 12

The anime is about Kyousuke Kousaka, a normal seventeen-year-old high school student who hasn't gotten along with his younger sister, Kirino, in years. Kirino has ignored his comings and goings, and looked at him with burning eyes. It seemed as if the relationship between Kyousuke and his sister, now fourteen, would continue this way forever. One afternoon, Kyousuke finds a DVD case of a magical girl anime named, Stardust Witch Meruru.

But to Kyousuke's surprise, inside the case is a hidden adult video game titled, Love with Little Sister. Later he discovers that this adult video game belongs to his younger sister. Kirino brings Kyousuke to her room late at night and shows him an extensive collection of moe anime and lolicon bishoujo games she has been collecting in secret.

This is the start of the anime that will bring in anyone who watches it. It’s funny, dramatic and yes, quite different. It’s an anime which became a clear favorite because of the strange storyline, but also because of the older brother/younger sister bond which is strengthen due to the strange little secret.

But other than that, the anime contains drama, romance and lots of humour. A great watch for guys and girls who loves anime.

This psychological thriller is based on the manga written and illustrated by Sakae Esuno. The anime is one of the most brutal when it comes to blood and violence. At first it might shock you a little, but it’s a favorite due to the realism of wondering, what if a thing like this happened in real life. It’s exciting and over the top story that will become a clear favorite because of the twists and turns. But, also because of the mystery with Time and Space. A series that will make your love for anime much bigger.
