Maybe this lesson should have been taught to fighting deities called Idaten who were once the strongest, but after having established peace for mankind, they have become shadows of their former selves. The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace follows the journey of these mystical beings as they must retrain themselves to fight against the evil Zoble Empire’s resurrected demon! This magical adventure anime is very reminiscent of older anime series but with modern animation that only MAPPA could craft! We highly recommend The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace if you need a newer adventure series from last year!

Senku, a young genius who like the billions of others on planet Earth, found himself suddenly turned to rock for years. After breaking from his stone prison, Senku found a means of curing those turned to stone and freed several others to help him begin rebuilding the world they once knew. Dr. Stone: Stone Wars acts as the second season where Senku now faces those who wish to keep the world encased in stone and must prove he has the smarts to survive their opposing desires. Watching Senku and his fellow stone world allies was a real treat in 2021 and we still can’t wait for a third season to air, eventually! Till then, we recommend Dr. Stone: Stone Wars to those who would like to journey back in time, sort of, and think if they could survive a world without modern conveniences!

As a human race, we often take a lot for granted. Many of us can experience the world in its entirety thanks to our five senses but for characters like Bojji, the world can be a bit strange. Despite being a prince, Bojji is small and can’t hear or speak. Even with those handicaps, Bojji is an adventurous prince who wants to see all of the world's glory and explore the challenges of life as best as he can! Ranking of Kings is a stellar anime—that currently is airing—and is one of the better adventure anime we’ve seen not only in 2021 but in the last decade! We’d have Ranking of Kings higher on our list if the series was over but with several episodes still left—as of writing this list—the series can always change...hopefully for the better!

To Your Eternity is a stellar and magnificent anime that graced our lives in 2021 and gave us the ability to see a world we know of but equally foreign to us as well. Do not pass on To Your Eternity if you love the adventure genre as this is one of the best anime of 2021 to release!
