Harukana Receive doesn’t seem like an ecchi series at first, *but it is*. The nature of Haruka, the “Haru” half of Karukana, is that she’s a cheerful, flirty girl. This makes situations with the more reserved Kanata quite hilarious (for the viewers, at least). However, you can’t rule out the twins Emily and Claire, either! There are lots of sexy girls in skimpy bikinis jumping around playing beach volleyball in Harukana and we’re going to tell you which scenes are the ones to watch! Take a look at our top five ecchi scenes from the show!
5. Okinawa Qualifiers- Round 1: Episode 9
While this episode isn’t particularly lewd, it does have a lot of shots of the girls playing beach volleyball. Haruka and Kanata are up against sisters Youna and Kanna Aragaki in the first round of the Okinawa qualifiers. The art’s really well done and we even get to see a bit of Kanata’s cleavage when she’s diving for shots! Of course, it’s full of boob jiggles and some great leg shots. Most episodes have these elements as well, but the art in episode 9 really brings out the best of them!
4. Okinawa Qualifiers- Final Match: Episodes 11-12
This covers Haruka and Kanata’s match against Emily and Claire in the final round of the Okinawa beach volleyball qualifiers. As it’s the end of the series and the most important match of the whole season, the animation’s really nice. Not only do we get to see all the boob jiggles, back arches, and butt shots, but we get to hear a lot of heavy panting, see some crotch shots, and lots of different movements from all the girls. Really, it does portray beach volleyball super accurately, but it’s also some great ecchi fan service, too!
3. The Beach Volleyball Club Scene: Episode 3
The scene in episode three we’re going to talk about is when Haruka and Kanata sit down to meet in the beach volleyball club for the first time. One of the most memorable moments here is when Claire suddenly yanks her top off to show off her bikini top. We get a nice view of her cleavage with a great bounce. Emily and Claire get into a bit of a tiff, but when Emily stops to talk to Haruka, Claire takes the chance to pull down Emily’s skirt. We can’t see what, if anything, Emily was wearing, but Haruka’s reaction sure does make us wonder!
2. Bikini Babes: Episode 2
This particular scene is where Haruka asks Kanata to reform her bikini so she can play beach volleyball easier. First, Kanata imagines Haruka wearing Narumi’s style of bikini and she gets flustered. Then, Kanata stares at Haruka’s butt saying that it looks nice and sexy, which makes Haruka flush. Kanata gets to work on pulling Haruka’s bottoms into place and viewers get a nice butt shot. The icing on the cake is when Haruka takes off her top without saying a word to Kanata beforehand, making Kanata become cutely flustered!
1. Beach Volleyball Training and Bikini Shopping: Episode 4
After Claire tells Haruka that she has some slippage (AKA she can see flashes of Haruka’s *most sacred place*), Haruka drags Kanata and the four of them head to a shop to try on some new bikinis! In this scene, we can watch the girls change and see a bunch of different bikinis on all four girls. Kanata’s is more reserved, but Emily, Claire, and Haruka all sport some more revealing and cute swimsuits! Haruka shows off how well her boobs jiggle in the frilly yellow suit, but Kanata shoots down that choice. Claire on the other hand, sports an incredibly sexy suit, which Emily shoots down, too. It’s a great episode overall with Haruka and Kanata going back to try on some more suits, too!
Final Thoughts
Beach volleyball is played in bikinis, usually skimpy ones, and involve a *lot* of movement. This is also exactly why it’s so much fun to watch! The creators added in a lot of extra things too, like the importance of finding that perfect bikini to play in, stretching, and just how close you need to be to your partner. Haruka, Kanata, Emily, and Claire are all competitive and close friends, which makes their antics they plan on each other even more enjoyable to watch.
