Saku offers Nozomu and her friends some Bocky. While everyone else takes some normally, Nozomu has other ideas. Instead of taking one, Nozomu takes a bite out of all of the remaining Bocky causing Saku to cry. This is a pretty simple scene compared to a lot of the other scenes we are going to look at, but it is still really good. A lot of Joshikousei no Mudazukai is made up of these short comedy bits and this one is by far one of the best in the series. It is great at giving you a laugh and it also adds to the overall story of the episode as Majime follows Nozomu around.

Yamai heads to the arcade and finds a Giant Isopod Girl plush and she tries her best to win it. No matter how many times she tries she isn't able to win. After watching a guy win one for his girlfriend and getting some help from the worker, Yamai still isn't able to win. Luckily for her, Majime shows up and is able to win it for her on her first try and then the two take a picture together to commemorate the event. This scene is both really funny and really cute. It is hilarious watching Yamai's many failed attempts and her reactions to everything going on. Then we get a nice heartwarming ending with Majime showing up and saving the day.

Seeing how much pain her grandmother was in, Saku decides that she can do the shopping alone. On her way to the store, Saku runs into Nozomu and her friends causing her to panic and try her best to avoid them. No matter how far Saku goes to try and find a store safe from Nozomu, she just keeps running into her. When she does finally get around to completing the shopping, she decides to skip out on buying the meat and instead buys candy thanks to Nozomu's bad influence. Whenever Saku and Nozomu are on screen together there is always something funny happening. This scene is one of their best moments and is one of the funniest scenes in Joshikousei no Mudazukai.

On her way home with Akane and Shiori, Nozomu talks about her dreams of falling in love. Each story she tells has a different set up for how she would be a guy. However, each scenario she comes up with ends with the guy calling her an "interesting woman." The first episode of Joshikousei no Mudazukai is filled with all sorts of great moments with everyone being introduced and getting their nicknames, but this is the highlight of the first episode. The scene is just so ridiculous on so many levels. All of the scenarios Nozomu comes up with are strange in their own way and they all include the even weirder ending of the interesting woman line. Then on top of that, the scene just keeps going and going and keep expecting it to end, but then Nozomu comes up with another idea. This scene was a great way to show just what kind of comedy we were in store for throughout the series.

Akane has fallen in love with the music from a Vocaloid producer named Teishotoku-P. Unbeknownst to her, Teishotoku-P is actually her teacher Waseda. Akane goes to a special event to meet Teishotoku-P for the first time and buy his CD, but Waseda figures out his biggest fan is actually his student and hides his identity from her. After she leaves, Waseda decides it is better to face this situation head-on and chases after her to reveal the truth to Akane, who doesn't handle the revelation well. However, Akane eventually comes to accept her feelings and uses them to push her forward on her journey to become a manga artist. What makes this moment so great is that it comes out of nowhere and gives us something we hadn't seen before in Joshikousei no Mudazukai. Everything in the series is focused on the comedy, but then this comes along and gives us this heartwarming moment between these two.
