With Ueno's latest invention, she hopes to eliminate the odor that comes from a long day at school. In order to test out her invention and to tease Tanaka, Ueno offers up her stockings to be tested. Believing Tanaka would be too embarrassed to take part in the test, Ueno unabashedly removes her stockings and places them on the table. Without a moment's hesitation, Tanaka and Yamashita get into a heated discussion and sniffing war over the stockings, ultimately ending with Ueno running away embarrassed about the situation. Watching Ueno's failed attempts to win over Tanaka are some of the best moments in the series and this is the first scene where we really get to see the three main characters show off all of their funny traits.

Unogawa shows up in the clubroom looking to have Ueno fix the anti-peeping eyeballs for the girl's locker room. While fixing the eyeballs, Ueno and Unogawa discuss flabby bodies, leading Tanaka to defend Ueno. Once Unogawa leaves, Tanaka and Ueno share a tender moment what shows off just how dense they both are. Watching as the whole scene unfolds, Yamashita takes her anger out on poor Tambo. This scene has a little bit of everything, from a little bit of romance to some great comedy, but the best part of the scene is watching as Tambo gets pummeled.

Tanaka's little sisters show up at the clubroom in order to find their big brother. While waiting for him to arrive, the twins get a lollipop from Ueno and taste drastically different flavors. The twins get into a big argument forcing Tanaka to take action and scold his sisters. Despite not sounding as fun and interesting as some of the other scenes in the series, this one has its own special charm that makes it great. It is always nice when new characters come into the show and change up the formula a bit, and the Tanaka twins are some of the best side characters in the series, with each of them having some absolutely hilarious lines throughout the scene.

In order to share the experience of some gum, the members of the science club use a device that allows them to share sensations by holding hands. As things escalate, Ueno starts to get nervous while holding Tanaka's hand, which leads her to get embarrassed and heading home for the day. This scene is a bit more wholesome than most of the other scenes in the series. Despite most of the anime featuring a mixture of comedic and lewd scenes, the series ends the final episode with this cute scene that gives us one final look at the romantic side of its story.

While it may be cheating to place the entire first episode on the list, the whole episode is a wild ride deserving of its own spot. The episode opens up strong with the first segment being dedicated to Ueno trying to get Tanaka to consume her purified urine and ends with galaxy panty protection. The first episode sets the bar high for just how absurd the series was going to be. Although there are other moments in the series that are funnier and crazy, nothing can top the moments you first experience everything Ueno-san wa Bukiyou has to offer.
