If you’ve ever rock climbed you know the amount of strength needed is truly extraordinary. The muscles in every fiber of your body writhe in pain as you continue to propel your body upwards hoping to keep your grip strength up. Sayo Yotsuba at first glance looks more like a model or pop idol but she’s a climber—as well as captain of the team—despite her appearance. Sayo is quite strong and is one of the strongest ladies within Hang On! Climbing Girls making her a truly important anime girl to adore. Unfortunately, Sayo isn’t the main girl—Konomi Kasahara—meaning she gets a lot less screen time and that is a shame…

Despite lacking a name, Execution Division Apprentice has certainly proved a capable warrior in the world of Akudama Drive. While she did struggle against the likes of Brawler and Cutthroat, Apprentice still held her own and survived not one but several encounters with the Akudama in the series. She might be an apprentice level Executioner but her skills should be looked at with praise and admiration. Plus, Apprentice is pretty cute so she’s not hard on the eyes either.

Towa Higurashi has little to prove given her legacy. Born from the powerful demon Sesshoumaru, Towa was destined from birth to be a powerhouse of a warrior. However, Towa’s upbringing wasn’t exactly normal as she was thrust into the modern world at a young age and enjoyed the life of a normal school girl while there. Nevertheless, Towa isn’t a slouch in combat wielding the powerful Kikujuumonji and clearly has an aptitude for battling anyone that wishes her or her family harm. Towa is a cutie and we wish she would get just a bit more love—despite her already being a main character—in Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon.

When you are dealing with magical demons and supernatural forces you need a strong woman on your team. Nobara Kugisaki fills out the cast of Jujutsu Kaisen as being just that, strong and truly the definition of badass! Nobara isn’t afraid to get into a fight and typically trash talks while duking it out with her opponent! If you are an otaku looking for a waifu with a tough—but cute—exterior/personality then you’re going to fall head over heels for Nobara Kugisaki.

When you’re a high-class anime girl, it’s only natural for you to have a maid or servant that can keep you safe at all times. In the case of Alice from Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World that guardian maid would be Rin Vispose. Rin is a stoic but cute maid who isn’t shy from telling her master off for acting silly or childish, especially when it comes to Alice’s affections for Iska who also happens to be their enemy. Rin has proven she’s willing to protect Alice from all threats—she even poisoned Iska in the neutral city with heavy sedatives to capture him—which has gained our respect for this petite maid. Don’t mess with Rin, she might be waifu material but her love for Alice comes first and that love is truly pretty terrifying.
