First-year Sohoku High Bicycle Club member Sakamichi Onodera, alongside classmates Shunsuke Imaizumi and Shoukichi Naruko and third-years Shingo Kinjou, Yuusuke Makishima and Jin Tadokoro, participated in Inter High, the international tournament, as Team Sohoku. Battling through tough races with rival schools like Hakone Academy and Kyoto Fushimi High School, they achieved spectacular victory.

Now that that sweltering summer has passed, the third-years prepare to retire from the club, and the ‘new generation’ team start to sprint towards their goal - to become Inter High champions once more!

Sakamichi Onoda

An otaku who loves figurines and anime and cycles to Akihabara every day. Has extraordinary high cadence, a pedalling skill he picked up without realising from his daily trips on his granny bike. After meeting Imaizumi and Naruko, he decides to try his hand at riding a road racer. After getting through tough training and entering Inter High, he shouldered the team’s hopes and led them to a spectacular victory. A candidate for the ace climber of the new generation.

Shunsuke Imaizumi

Voice Actor: Kousuke Toriumi

An all-rounder who excels at sprinting and climbing who’s been famous since his middle school days. Underneath his cool exterior burns an intense fighting spirit. Swearing revenge on a certain guy who he once lost to, he’s trained himself to remain stoic. He’s the first to notice Sakamichi’s potential. During the tournament, he started to believe in cycling for the team and greatly contributed to the team’s victory. He’s aiming to be the ace of the new generation.

Shoukichi Naruko

Voice Actor: Jun Fukushima

A sprinter from Osaka who loves anything flashy and wants nothing more than to stand out from the crowd. Became a sprinter because he believes being fast will make him stand out. Although he’s a bit lacking in the physical department, he faces adversity with his inherent competitive spirit and willpower. Inspired the team during Inter High with his passionate cycling. The ace sprinter of the new generation.

Hajime Aoyagi

Voice Actor: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka

A quiet second-year student at Sohoku. Has incredible teamwork with Teshima as ‘Team Futari’ and is talented enough to have won several races. Although he lost in the race during training camp and couldn’t participate in Inter High, he backed up the team as a supporting member. With his strong fighting spirit, he leads the members of Team Sohoku alongside Teshima.

Junta Teshima

Voice Actor: Daisuke Kishio

A second-year student at Sohoku and an ingenious strategist. Has amazing teamwork with his sworn friend Aoyagi as ‘Team Futari’. Although he lost in the race during training camp and couldn’t participate in Inter High, he backed up the team as a supporting member. Aiming for another win at Inter High, he takes the position of team captain for the new generation.
