Yowamushi Pedal Live Action PV - 8.14
What You Need to Know:
- It was officially announced yesterday that popular cyclying anime Yowamushi Pedal would receive a live action film, and today we have juicy details on the main cast. The movie is slated to debut in Japan 8.14 and you can be sure that we'll likely attend the roadshow to watch the exciting movie! Main protagonist Sakamichi Onoda will be played by Ren Nagase (a member of famous Johnny's idol unit "King & Prince"), while Onoda's best friends Shunsuke Imaizumi and Shoukichi Naruko will be played by Kentarou Itou and Ryuta Bandou respectively.
- In addition, the manager of the team will be played by cute actress Kanna Hashimoto, who also acts as Kagura in the popular Gintama series. The movie will also introduce an original character never seen in both the manga or anime series, named Kouji Kanzaki (Miki's father), who will be played by Sarutoki Minagawa.
