The tone is also very similar in that, while the pairs are working towards their romance, they still have higher goals in mind for their careers, in Rikei ga Koi they pursue science and in Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun they pursue the very relatable world of mangaka. Aki and Masamune’s relationship flourishes as they grow closer on false pretenses. Can the two grow to really love each other as Yukimura and Himuro do? They must learn to overcome their challenges and prejudices to truly prove their love.
