- It has been revealed on the official Twitter for the manga Himouto! Umaru-chan and its spin-off series Akita Imokko! Ebina-chan that there will be a "big announcement" made on the wrap-around cover of the new volume of Umaru-chan.
- This will be the 9th volume of Himouto! Umaru-chan and the first for Akita Imokko! Ebina-chan, both of which go on sale tomorrow in Japan.

Oh god... This feels like a live action is coming...
A second season would be great but I wouldn't mind if it was a live action! I'd prefer a drama to a movie, though.
But the whole reason the two sides of Umaru-chan worked was because it was animated. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for season two!!
