Discussion Time

Boku no Hero Academia chapter 248 didn’t hesitate in starting our younger heroes’ challenge set by Endeavor. Despite their immense skill and speed, Endeavor was always a step ahead stopping crime and saving the moment. Yet, Endeavor spoke the truth. Missing a moment could lead to a life lost and it’s a lesson he really put emphasis on to our three heroes in training. After this enlightening speech, Endeavor then began to tackle the problems Deku, Bakugo, and Shoto all face individually. Deku has been striving to master his new power but Endeavor flat out told him to focus on mastering his first ability. Shoto and Bakugo were given a similar assignment to one another in the form of learning how to release their power all in one second until they could do that without missing a beat. The ultimate lesson learned by our number one hero, though, was this, “One Thing At A Time” which is also conveniently the name of the chapter. Our 248th chapter abruptly skips ahead a week and we have Shoto’s sister asking her father to bring the others over for a big dinner and that has us thinking we’ll get a nice lull chapter next week. Overall, however, Boku no Hero Academia chapter 248 was quite simple this week but the message it conveyed—despite being at heroes—was something we all could take into consideration. While we chew more on Endeavor’s words of wisdom, let’s jump further into our review to examine our favorite parts of this week’s chapter.

Why You Should Read Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia) Chapter 248

1. Words to Live By

Endeavor is a meathead in many ways. However, as the last several chapters have established, our new number one hero isn’t a complete fool. By telling our kids to focus on one challenge at a time he’s given them the wisest message of them all. We can only do so much in life and taking on too much won’t help us in the long run nor help others. Sometimes, you legit need to focus on one thing and then move on to the next to better yourself.

2. No Excuses!

No matter what, our heroes should know that excuses aren’t going to help them or others. Endeavor said it loud to Bakugo when he complained about the weather lessening his powers. You can complain all you want but in the end, that does absolutely nothing. Hopefully, these words ring loudly in the hearts and minds of our younger heroes!

Final Thoughts

There wasn’t a lot of action or epic moments to this week’s Boku no Hero Academia chapter. That being said, what it lacked in oomph it made up with deep words that resonate with us readers as well. As scary and jerk-like as Endeavor can be, what he said in this 248th chapter about taking one challenge at a time and not making excuses can be seen as relatable even to us regular Quirkless individuals.
