Tsubasa Oozora
Voice Actor: Yuuko Sanpei
Tsubasa has always been with a ball ever since he was born. He’s a genuine soccer boy. His creed is ‘Balls are friends’. He moved from an elementary school that did not have a soccer club to Nankatsu City.
Genzou Wakabayashi
Voice Actor: Kenichi Suzumura
Genzou is a genius, champion goalkeeper belonging to Shuutetsu FC. His creed is ‘stop all shots other than those from the penalty box.’ After accepting Tsubasa’s invitation for a match, he becomes his rival.
Tarou Misaki
Voice Actor: Ayaka Fukuhara
Due to his father’s work as an artist, they move from place to pace and have just transferred into Nankatsu Elementary. He is so skilled, that he is equal in skill to Tsubasa. Tarou is perfectly in sync with Tsubasa to the point that people refer to them as the ‘golden combi.’
Ryou Ishizaki
Voice Actor: Mutsumi Tamura
Ryou is the first person whom Tsubasa meets after he transfers into Nankatsu City. His inherent guts and determination lead him to persevere in his efforts.
Kojirou Hyuuga
Voice Actor: Takuya Satou
Koujirou is a champion ace striker from Meiwa FC. His creed is ‘Soccer without losing’ and will sometimes play aggressively if it will assure him victory.
Roberto Hongou
Voice Actor: Katsuyuki Konishi
Robert is a former soccer player for the Brazil national team, and is Tsubasa’s coach as well as the coach for the Nankatsu Elementary School Soccer Team. While visiting Japan, he was charmed by Tsubasa’s talent and decided to raise him to be a top tier professional. When in Japan, he stays with the Oozora family rent free.
Sanae Nakazawa
Voice Actor: Sayuri Hara
Her nickname is Anego (Big sis). She saw Tsubasa play soccer after she transferred into Nankatsu Elementary, and fell in love with him immediately. She is such a tomboy that she’s the head of an all-boy cheerleading group.
Mamoru Izawa
Voice Actor: Mutsuki Iwanaka
Mamori is a player from the Shuutetsu FC. He is excellent at getting control of the ball and handling it well, as well as he is good at jumping, so he’s great at dog fights.
