- Now this is surely some news that may surprise a lot of people, but is also quite a great one as well! Atari, the company who pretty much helped to breathe life into the game industry, has no secured the rights to RollerCoaster Tycoon until 2022.
- Chris Sawyer, the creator of the series, and Atari both agreed to sign a three year extension. This is incredible news especially after the release of RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch, which until recently has over 6.5 million downloads on mobile devices!
- Atari will continue to provide ongoing support across its RCT titles and the extension will benefit players with additional investment and product development from Atari.
